    I'm glad I went with the S23+, I find it just the perfect size. No one can tell me otherwise but the AMOLED screen on this phone is insane. Even my gf, with her 14 Pro Max, is constantly impressed by my S23+ screen quality.
    I tested the P8P, and returned it. One UI has such versitility and customization built in + Good Lock, that I manage to tweak and change things to my absolute liking, something that the Pixel doesn't let you do.... yet.
    Overall, One UI convinced me and the build quality of the phone is top tier though generic looking from the back.

    • @yukanda3103
      @yukanda3103 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah, i really love my S23 Ultra and my GF has the S23+ and also loves it!
      I also tried the P8P, but it wasnt for me. The Battery on Mobile Data and that it sometimes overheats really made it only an okay experience.

      @donlodtonku ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Same here. GoodLock is seriously underrated. At first I thought it's only for cosmetic modifications but it has practical side as well. I love than I can set the task changer to grip which does speed up multitasking.

    not trying to defend any of the big tech companies, but I genuinely don't need chargers in the box anymore. I've had an Anker wall adapter that can charge up to 100 W (overkill in the US) for a couple of years and don't think I'll need to upgrade it for a while. getting more wall adapters would just be more for me to lose or collect dust. Is the complaint just because people just lose their adapters all the time? as long as the value paid is going to the phone (which may be questionable, given the over-charging some companies are known to do), I don't need it to include things I won't use

    I loved my S20 FE for years. Got a deal on a used S23 Ultra for $650, IMEI states 256GB with 8GB RAM, but it's actually 512GB with 12GB RAM. Not sure why, but I'm okay with it (probably why I got it so cheap). Went back to using my old S20 FE, and the difference is crazy.

    OneUI is, in my opinion, the best android experience one can get. Stock android does come close though.

    I really agree, and the stylus is and extremely pleasant tool , DEX , and One UI are unmatched because frequently updated , so mre and more usefull as time goes by ... Granteed longevity and The Hardware is TOP it would seem that Samsung learned a lot of what's necessary to remain the KING of the hill. Honnestly in December of 2023 i am more and more impressed by the work of that brand. I might been convinced to move to a laptop of the Brand but wait and see for this . By the way great job you've done really complete.

I only wireless charge my 23U now just to maintain the port for longer and the wireless charging speeds are fast. As for the spen i user it everyday for work and it saves me money on pens and paper.

    I have the Samsung S23 Ultra and i can agree that it's the best mobile on the market for now. But also I will disagree with you that the battery is lasting for two days. Lets be honest on this not more than a day max but max day and half with a daily usage 3.5 hours of screen.

      How? I'm getting 9 hours SoT with full screen resolution, 120hz and mobile data on 24/7. 🤔 Still only one day battery, I use 85% charge limiter and charge back up at around 30% to 40% to preserve longetivity (planning on keeping this for at least 4 years).

      The main issue with the Pixel is raw power. The SOC is not indicative of what Google is capable of. The software and AI is excellent though. The IPhone 15PM and ANY future IPhone is great n desperate need of a cooling solution (vapor chamber). The reason Samsung was able to close the gap in performance was simply due to PROPER cooling. If Apple follows suit and adds a few multitasking features, they’ll quickly jump ahead again. All that said, Samsung is looking mighty impressive right now.

    This video review makes me happy with my decision of getting the device and moving from the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
    The only drawback I have with my s23 Ultra compared with my 13 Pro Max is the battery drain when using it making video call via FB messenger as it tends to drain faster. Aside from this, everything is almost perfect.

I use the Fiio BTR7 with Campfire Andromeda (yes, I am a so-called audiophile) and the iPhone AAC from my 11 Pro Max is not even close! And yes, I have 2 phones, as I use the iPhone for Facetime with my family overseas :) No one can't touch Galaxy S23 as an overall package.

    have you checked out the red magic 8s pro and the new red magic 9? actually the red magic 8 pro i feel it is more powerful. but all these phones lacks some features.
    even though it is more powerful in gaming because it is a gaming phone that cost 300 usd less than the ultra.
    both boxy phone but the red magic hides the selfie camera making it all screen.
    looks nice but i actually still prefer samsung ultra better for it's cameras. i do game like genshin which the red magic is also good for, it has built in fans(yeah this will degrade over time) at the cost of waterproof and also has another built in chip to help handle gaming. the last year model with the 8 gen 2 can give genshin stable 60 fps at max settings for 1 hr cause of fan. while the samsung 24ultra 8 gen 3 overclock probably could 60 fps but have some drop frames. didn't realized cooling can be pretty effective O_o
    im broke but i will try to save cash for the s24 ultra after 2 years after it's release rip.
    also when i see people test games especially like genshin it's usually at the beginning.
    when you play enough to do all the quick swaps dropping elemental skill and ultimate burst at high settings. so many glowing effects will appear. i never see people test that with phone performance reviews. so it looks misleading, not saying your video is. but i see so much people say phone can handle genshin but they aren't pushing the game in the highest potential

      I understand you, having a lot of my accounts based on Apple, just straight up sucks. Especially my games which rely on Game Center. But making accounts inside the games would have to be the only option there is if I wanna switch to the S23 Ultra.
      The only thing good about Apple would probably be their ipads

    From the s22 ultra i am here for the battery news; because it started out good, but then nosedived. I need a day and a half or 7-8 hours of SOT like the s23 ultra, and well it seems to be mostly getting that from all the polls i see.

    The only cons for me is the size and the curve screen. Imagine S24 ULTRA with 6.1 size. Bin the Spen. Waste of space.

    Constantly have small issues like the keyboard won't appear when I'm trying to type on something, have to open multitask menu on and off

    I traded my s22U for a fold 4 and skipped the s23U just because of the curve edges alone, I'm someone who uses the spen a lot and those curved edges are the most counter productive things Samsung could have made for spen users, I might get the s24U just for the flat screen alone.

    the hypocrisy of phone companies now a day is astonishing
    "we have good camera" -no removable storage
    "we take good video" -no headphone jack
    "our screen is the most color accurate" -no headphone jack

    A phone without microSD and headphone jack is a GARBAGE phone, specially if you call it "Ultra" or "Pro" or "Premium".
    Those omissions are simply NOT admissible, no matter how many OEM-simps try to make up excuses for it.

      SD card readers and jacks are not premium features. They are now low-cost phone features. SD cards for those who cannot afford premium phones that mostly start with 256GB. Jacks were replaced by the USBC slot. You can easily use a USBC DAC for headphones, though most buyers of premium phones now use Bluetooth.
