The sawed-off with the retro charge was honesty of the most brutal weapons in the series

I disagree. My reason is a bayonet can't really compare in brutality to a chainsaw. Also had no idea it was even a thing until this video.
@@jmsgridiron5628 i could be wrong but Droid might've meant the shotgun itself, not just the bayonet. still, anything that can make mincemeat of gears or locust should be feared.

The ink grenade is heavily underrated.

@@slyllamademon2652technically not possible unfortunately. This is because the ink grenade is a baby nemacyst and I’m pretty sure they went extinct after the locust countermeasure
The Elite Sawed Off could've had so much potential if it was added into the game, too bad we only got to play it during RAAM's Shadow
The Boomshot part made me laugh. King of the Hill mode with just Boomers vs COG is hilariously overkill.

I wish we could of used the elite double barrel and the krill grenade in multi-player, and in horde mode too. Great video.
The boom shot fires an emulsion cluster bomb and that's why it needs a large drum like you would shield from radiation (emulsion exposure in this case) and is loaded into the drum using tools. The pump is to load the shell from the drum into the chamber.👌

By the way, in GoW 3 if you interrupt boomshot's reload animation. It will spawn three to four extra drums rather then just one.

I miss beast mode
I have no problem with the Swarm but they don't have the drip that the Locust had. 😂
They don't have a tenth
While all of the executions in the game were very brutal, I still remember the snub nose pistol executions the most from Gears of War 3.
Adding insult to injury at the end of a match with a full punch finisher felt good.
one thing i noticed about RAAM i was surprised wasn't added was if you actually get close to him when he's shooting his gun, it also acts as a shot gun too. i remember completing *A Dish Best Served Cold* achievement he would shoot his weapon a couple times like a shot gun if your close enough to him.
I miss fighting the old school locust they seemed way more organized, was never a fan of the swarm

I really hope we get a remaster for 2 & 3 with cut content and dlc. Such a good trilogy.

@blueguy2128 blame the industry for putting out busted up, financially predatory and low quality sequels. They're the ones making them. Id 10000% buy a remastered trilogy, then anything close to gears 5. So I'd have to disagree that people like me are why the *industry* is terrible now, sir.

Im disappointed that they didn’t include the Sawed Off in gears 4 and 5 even if it was just for the campaign and horde mode.
Honestly, the ragers should’ve switched the grip on the weapon bc it’s literally just an axe, and it would’ve made them scarier and make sense when they kill you in 2 hits.

Abz that’s called a Glaive. It’s basically a spear specialized for cutting and slashing. So I would call it a cleaver glaive. Also those troikas should be able to shoot indefinitely as long as they have enough ammo.

Started playing through the series on hard again and almost through Gears 2. The torque bows are likely the single weapon I die to most lol.

The swarm and bairds toasters couldn't even compare to then original trilogies locusts

Not many people know this. The Gorgon Pistol is the burst-fire weapon in Gears of War 2. The Gorgon SMG is the fully automatic (700 rounds per minute) weapon in Gears of War 3.

Off topic kinda but isn’t it crazy that once people start quick scoping and abusing already good mechanics in a game they die off??? God I used to love gears when people actually played like it it was a war. Now it’s sliding t-bags everywhere and no other guns used except the sniper and the shotty. What a waste of such good lore

I would love a gears of war for the locust side
My two favorite weapons are the komax (the one from GoW 3) and the tension bow, one for its precision and its perfect rate of fire for headshots but also its brutal execution then the second the tension bow is precise and effective (especially if you miss the head the target doesn't escape) but hey I had a question from 0:00 to 0:24 which gears do these images come from? because a big locust with a hammer or even the possible possibility of playing with raam.. I don't see which one it could be especially since I am a big fan of this license and its history please give me a little answer?
Ps I'm a French fan but I'm for the locust if they attacked humans they had good reasons
The “staff” has a true name, a staff is something more with blunt ends that would be called a glaive held by the 12 foot tall locust in 5:13
