There's something about Gears that always makes you come back for more, As a Overall game that has it all, the first 3 games are 10/10.. Even 4 and 5 they might not be up to par with the original trilogy, The lore is amazing and there's always something new to learn, A gripping story that keeps you invested.
Thanks for watching and I completely agree, while the story of Gears has heavily evolved around the family line of the Fenix & Queen Myrrah. There are lots of stories with many various characters that make up the Gears Universe and what I want for this series to show.
I would highly recommend reading the books if you haven’t. They’re fantastic especially the earlier ones that are set around the original trilogy of games. Many characters that didn’t even show up in game until 3 get fleshed out a lot more Bernie and Sam in particular. You also get a great understanding of some the stuff that gets talked about in the games such as the Cog falling apart and Baird killing a Leviathan before the one in 3. Overall they really just add to the already great games and characters
Gears 2 will always hit me so much more deeper than the rest
Gears of War 2 Campaign is still the best for sure, Gears 5 a close second for me personally.
Well i guess it's time to go back with my memories all the way to childhood.

Some gear fans are positive in saying that Gears 6 will turn back to it's roots because look at Halo Infinite.
Sure but in order for them to do that it would mean put back the locust, make Delta squad at the epicenter, bring back the gore, bring back the strong females from Gow universe more into play like Bernie and the list goes on.
*Based on the track record that TC have it's all just wishful thinking IMO*

Delta Squad is still the center of the story in new games, genius. And you want to talk about "strong female characters" when they introduced Lizzie Carmine, Mikayla, Lahni and Kait? It has Locusts in Gears 5 (campaign and Horde). More blood is an acceptable request indeed.

The original Delta Squad Marcus, Baird, Cole, Dom had way more chemistry and quality banter than this generic ones we have today.
They put Kait in the game to have STRONG female character like the gears universe doesn't have them.

Just because the swarm are an evolved locust that doesn't mean that it's the same thing cause it's not
If you look at the older gow games the gore was on another level with bones, organs etc
@@SPQRapid I'm not referring to the Swarms, there are Locust Drones in the Gears 5 campaign, there are Sires and a Berserker, you would know that if you really played. And there are several different Locusts in Horde mode (Palace Guard, Therons, Grenadiers, etc).
"It's not about you it's about me!" So instead of Kait Diaz who says that phrase, you want Marcus Fenix who ignored orders from superiors and let civilians die because he wanted to save his father? In other words, Marcus sort of said, "It's not about you it's about me!"
And like I said, I agree about the lack of gore in G5.

You are missing the point over and over dude. Just because there is some locust sprinkled in there that doesn't mean going back to the roots. For me and a lot of other Gears players fighting the locust was way more fun even Shadowz mentioned it a while ago. BUT I understand it's all about preference.
If you like Kait that is fine but to compare her with Marcus is dumbfounding to me.
Kait Diaz is fueled by independence she is sassy, disrespecting other characters and fellow allies authorities doesn't care about anybody else but her problems nor does she carry any weight of responsibility.
Again dude they could have left Ania alive, or gone with Bernie (who is AWESOME from the books), Sam instead of Kait
