Tales of the Grimdark is a battle report series that i just started, bringing you a different story with each battle. I hope you enjoy and i hope you can forgive the mistakes i made in this video. It's all in good fun and i am playing against myself haha.

Great work! Story, setup, everything.. Models and terrain work very well together.. I especially like the low camera angles during the battle.. They really create a tense street level kind of atmosphere. Also nice with a peek behind the scenes.. 😊 👍

Fantastic to see you back my friend. First I`d like to start by saying how impressed I am by your grim, gritty, horrifyingly cool looking grimdark models.. they have a look all of their own and are pretty darn cool I must say (they remind me of the highly cool modelling of Joe Dever from the 90s). Mixed with the terrain, the whole aethetic feel and tone is stageringly awesome. As I always say, I really wouldn`t worry about any mistakes (anyway.. can you make mistakes when playing solo?). I`ve never been a rules lawyer and I suspect most who play this game are not either (otherwise they`d be playing 40K lol). The rules merely help tell a story and are guidelines, not hard and fast things immutably cast in stone. When ever I`m playing a solo game as part of my campaign, if I forget a rule or something I just go "ah well, the winds of chaos must have altered the parameters this turn" haha. Great battle report and again fantastic to see you back. I`m playing my version of "Shadow Throne" right now but using my own rules and backstory. I`m having a blast, just like you are doing in your games :-)

Thanks man, yeah, I play against myself so indeed, you can't really make mistakes, but I do try to get everything as accurate as possible but once I am I the flow of the game I often overlook certain aspects of the abilities haha.

Man, I love these. What I'd give to see this storyline as like a mod campaign in Dawn of War or something! Also, I just wanted to let you know that I've been using Ultra Azure and Planetary Fists in my own Grimdark Future stories and writing jam entries, I always say in comments that I gotta give credit to you for that and I do apologize for not properly asking about it sooner

Was very happy to see this video pop up on my home feed. I've been trying to search out narrative battles to check out some other people's lore and games. This was very entertaining, plus it was funny to see you playing on everything that you have made in a video 😊
And yeah I didn't even notice any mistake rlly.
Only thing I wish you would do is animate the narrative parts. Even if it's just moving images or slowly zooming in and out on a couple diff ones. The rain was Def a cool touch. 😊 the narrative parts are rly cool. You should Def keep those going

@@comadrone_xix my other previous videos have those in them. I used to do dialogue during rounds but I noticed ppl turned off as it was a bit too much so I switched it up a bit. But if you check out my Gang Wars (opr necromunda) series they have a lot of narrative in it 😉.

Good vid ! I just think that at 21:28 the demon shouldn't have defend the AP4 attacks with his 5 and 4, and thus should have taken 6 wounds
