My mother was a Gianni Versace model late 80s and early 90s and then later designer for Gianni. It broke her heart and this was the song/ hym she constantly listened to. I love this song but my family and i know we will cry with memories in our minds. Gianni made the supermodel era and he created fashion. RIP ALL LOVE

And also support the arts and the arts traditions of the nations of the world! Never upon never should governmental support and patronage be reduced or eliminated! What a desolate world there would be without the creations of the human spirit! The ethereal unchanged voices of pubescent boys are like the angelic choirs of Heaven! May those choirs continue forever! The training the boys receive will support them for the rest of their lives, and this comment is being made my one who many years ago was privileged to have been a soloist and member of the acclaimed Apollo Boys Choir of Palm Beach, Florida.

in my opinion, the two lead vocalists of The Choirboys do the best version, but Andrew Liang, here, is a very close second..however..the choir performance and the totally stunning organ player from the Georgia Choir are phenomenal and unbeatable.Thank you

I sing this in choir and it’s an all girl choir I want to compare the choirs!!!
Zoey The best I can remember singing this with the traditional melody as a child with other girls, I think the girl voice can bring something to this piece that is at least equal to the best of the boys. In assembly the mixed choir sang the descant and the rest of the junior school sang the usual melody. When I was about thirteen my voice changed and I stopped singing. I have started singing again in church in mezzo soprano, sometimes top soprano if I get up early enough to warm up my voice LOL!

My Goodall writes good TV music and this was used as a BBC sitcom TV theme song. It was for a comedy about a female Anglican vicar, in a village called Dibley. Very amusing, sometimes outrageously so but never loses the idea that the shepherd of the flock has to look after the flock, no matter how daft, wayward, frustrating or hardwork they might be.
