Even being American, they still seemed really at a loss to where they should go
@Cristiano dos Santos Gomes Some people completely lack empathy it seems. Real life shows that people many times become unaware or their surroundings, even loud noises, when paying attention to something else. Example, your CHILDREN when watching a cartoon. The average husband when his wife starts talking about her day at work. People who get run over by cars, despite cars making noise and sometimes even honking their horn before collision. Those people are in a noisy environment. They hear the soldiers but they are concentrated on their tasks or sights. They are not aware the soldiers are screaming at them until the last moment. At 4:10 the soldiers ONLY scream at the old man AFTER throwing him at the ground. They could have screamed earlier, clearly did not do so just to scare him.

I applaud the patience and self control of these guards. I am honestly ashamed that some people have no respect with boundaries at all.
What a Special Moment! I couldn’t hold my tears. She seems to be very sweet and as beautiful inside as she is outside !!! 💕
I had the absolute please to meet with the guards at the tomb of the Unknown with my ROTC unit and help lay a wreath the moment we were behind closed doors they were the coolest guys ever the moment the door opened up it was like flipping a switch. I cherish those memories and i get very furious when i see people disrespecting these guys!!
Showing such respect by the guards for fallen comrades is the least they can do!
The the messiah in the Christian Bible tells us, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend." (John 15:13KJV) I have the deepest love & respect for anyone that takes a notion to give up their live to protect my hide & never met me or knew me! means a lot to me! & shall have my everlasting gratitude! I can't speak for anyone else it's just my humble opinion.
@@georgegray1438 I couldn’t have said it better myself. God bless the USA and it’s servicemen and women!
I had the great privilege of witnessing the changing of the guard at The Tomb when I was in high school back in the mid 1960s. To this day, a sense of awe comes over me whenever I remember it.
Imagine messing with the Sentinels at a tomb where you’re supposed to show respect. Nothing but respect for them
Some people DO NOT understand respect! I live in the U.S. and would never act the way some childish people act. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, you stand in complete silence and never cross the ropes. I cherish our soldiers and would never disrespect them. The same for the Guards in England.
Props to that gentleman who admonishes the couple who threw a glove in front of the royal guard
You can smell their bad parenting
@@grievetan There's something off about them...probably their nose length
It's his job.
I hope they kicked them out.
@@UnknownUnknown-wc9yp And how long is yours? ( just long enough to stick it in someone else's business?)
When I was a teenager I was in Civil Air Patrol for about 3 years. We trained and did a reenactment of Changing of the Guard at local cemetery. Its a hell of a lot harder than people think and it was a lot of pressure to be perfect. It was disrespectful to the unknown soldier and the real guards. I was and still am proud of being a part of the "ceremony".
If anyone is intrested in viewing its heald at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow Okl. on memorial day weekend. (Or it used to be. I haven't been there in about 15 years)
Not about you.

it's more like "asserting his dominance while holding a sword"
Imma be that guy, it's a saber, a type of sword, as a fencing nerd pls specify
So true
that made me want to stop watching the video

Honor. Duty. Loyalty. These men have all in spades. They are true professionals and are the best of us. Respect to those it is due....
The glove situation is interesting because you just know that the guard wouldn't let the two idiots step over the rail to retrieve the glove. They let the other chap do it as a token of respect for him.
He works there.
Bro he works there, look at the way he's dressed
He is a Beefeater. They are ceremonial guards and trained soldiers.
you do know he's not just some random guy?
@@kerrylee4633 Ex-soldiers who must have reached at least WOII rank.
To disgrace the tomb of the unknown soldier is beyond horrific. He is an example of the sacrifice made daily by military personnel. He must have seen horrible things while at War. Be respectful. Please
What if it turns out that the soldier interned there was actually a coward and a deserter? Wouldnt that be ironic?
@@arte0021 with respect & without malice, "interred." It would be the height of irony, yes. In these situations, I think about my trip to Pearl Harbor. My neighbor's Son was on the Arizona, and his name is on that majestically white slab. I never knew him. When you arrive, the film of the Japanese bombing us is shown. Small children were roaming around careless and the park ranger said: this is a national graveyard of the fallen. Please look after your children. We got to the ship. some of it visible just under the clear water. I was there an hour, waiting for an oil bubble to rise. Then to pay respects. That small bubble came up and it felt like one of the fallen cried it for me. I returned several salty tears back. I suppose what that ship, and the tomb of the unknown represents to us everyone who sacrificed for us. Cheers.
All people care about is getting that great photo for their Instagram. The same crap happens at Auschwitz, where the stupid tourists are all jolly and running around taking idiotic pictures. Sometimes they get kicked out for their disrespect.
There’s actually 3 remains in the Tomb from WWI, II and Korea. There used to be one for Vietnam but the remains were later identified and removed.
Sacrifice for what?
I wonder how some people could live in the 21st century and still be so uncivilized. These are soldiers for crying loud and they deserve our maximum respect and recognition. Not mockery and funny comments. Am so ashamed of anyone who ever made mockery of these decorated soldiers. Kudos to our soldiers
It's ironic that there were people in the 19th century that thought in the future people would become more civilized and war would be a thing of the past, when the reverse has happened. Things like morality, civilized behavior and honor are becoming more and more rare.

@@austynjoe3495willing to bet you'd NEVER say that to their faces ya chump. You're just a keyboard warrior ain't ya?
The chap who told off the couple who had thrown their glove was one of the Yeoman Warders, commonly known as Beefeaters. Beefeaters are retired warrant officers who must have served at least _22 years_ in the armed forces, and have at least Long Service and Good Conduct medals. Every one of them is both a certified badass and a consummate professional.
One has to be exceptional to be chosen for these roles. I was lucky with another classmate to present a wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier. Their movements are like clockwork. They should be honored.
Some of us do honor them, and wish we lived in a world where they weren't neccessary.
Thank you!
