So Ismael was unholy because he came from a maid Hagar? she was an amazing person and when she was left in the valley of mecca she told Abraham, " did you bring us here or did God command you?" he said to her God commanded me. Her reply was "So God will not abandon us" and she told him to leave. How can an unholy person come out of a woman like that? A woman with her resolve and patience will only bear a holy person.
The only reason this jewish man is saying ismael is unholy is because the arab tribes of adnan came from him later, which are the ancestors of prophet Muhammad. But why all this hate? Muslims believe in both prophets (isaac and ismael) as holy and righteous men and their father was the best of prophets, muslims respect all the prophets of God without arrogance Islam means submitting your will to the God of Abraham and moses and jesus and Muhammad. Peace be upon them.

Omg as a Muslim it’s so shocking to hear prophets being referred to in such a negative way!
In Islam it’s the complete opposite. Abraham is of the Utmost righteousness and ALWAYS was. Ishmael and Isaac are BOTH righteous and are both prophets. Prophet Yaqov is righteous and his sons Joseph and Bin Yamin are righteous from the beginning with Joseph being a Prophet but the other 10 plotted to kill their brother Joseph but instead put him in a well because one of the 10 who was slightly more righteous told them not to kill him, also in a later part of the story 1 of the 10 also proved to be better than the other 9. But in the end when Yusuf got reunited with his father they all repented and asked their father to ask god to forgive them and Yusuf himself forgave them. In the Quran the only ones who were bad were the10 sons but they became good after.

Unfortunately, A very typical Jewish mentality of we are the best, we are the sons of the best child, we are the holy children of Abraham but the others not! and all this illusion and myth.
First Hagar is not an ordinary person at all and Abraham knows that, she is not just a maid, she is in fact an Egyptian princess who has been captured and sold, so she is superior to Sarah although the circumstances have made her serve Sarah!
Ismael was not a son of incompetence or evil as portrayed by the highly racist Jewish heritage towards their cousins!
The young man was polite, and holy, the circumstances placed him in a difficult geographical area, he had to face it strongly and firmly, he was raised in the desert of the Arabs, among an ancient beautiful Yemeni Arab tribes, whom take care of him and his mother, and looked to him in all holiness and respect, he learned everything, and Abraham visited him every few years, He did not abandon him forever, When Ismael grew up, Abraham visited him and ask him, "My son, you have grown up to build the temple of God here, and I will pray to God to make this region full of people, where people will visit it every day!”
You are blessed child, you are the prophet of God. Call for the path of One God with all wisdom and good preaching. You will have many sons, who will be masters of the world with power and prophecy.
For the violence of today! We go back to history, Judaism does much more than this, and the Torah is full of murder, terror and genocide, an eccentric god who loves people upon the rest of humanity, ordering them to kill and exterminate humans and animals! A narrow minded racial god,
can this religion be holy ?! of course not.
Christian crimes can not be believed by the mind, has annihilated one third of the population of Europe, half of Russia and parts of Africa and Latin America, all in the name of the Holy Christ! can this be holy ?! of course not.
All religions have violence, but The violence of unlucky Islam is occurred on the 21 century not the 4th or 12th time of open skies and digital cameras recording everything! If Jewish and Christian violence were documented, Muslim violence with compare would be to childish act.

So I’ve learnt quite a lot today by looking at a whole load of videos including by this Rabbi. That Prophet Ishmael (Peace be Upon him) was Prophet Abraham’s (Peace be Upon him) first born child as well as an ancestor of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) And Prophet Isaac (Peace be Upon him) was the second child of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) and then Prophet Isaac (Peace be Upon him) had Prophet Jacob (Peace be Upon him) as a son who too was of Jewish faith and sold into slavery by his Jewish siblings (that is what I recall from my religious classes in Catholic School). In my youth I used to get confused by the two brothers and at one stage thought that maybe both were one person where one name was in Arabic and one in Hebrew, which I course later learnt was incorrect. The Quran states that God Almighty asked or told (I’m not too sure of correct term) Prophet Abraham (Peace be upon him) to sacrifice his only child, which would mean the first born, Prophet Ishmael (PBUH), I would like to know what the The Zabur says, does it name the child or say only child like in the Quran? The Rabbi said some quite insulting things as well including insults for other children of Prophet Abraham (Peace be Upon him) and his character. I did not quite understand as per my understanding Prophet Abraham (PBUH) only had one child with his Jewish wife and I believe (but will check later) that Prophet Ishmael did not have any full siblings. So the other half siblings were from Prophet Abraham’s third wife after the Jewish 1st wife passed away (I note the Rabbi was also critical of their character). Which holy book are these criticisms quoted from? Or are these the Rabbis own personal opinion? In which case he should not be preaching them. The common denominator in two of the three wives I believe is that they were Arabs. Another video I saw was that the Jewish people also had a Gentile prophet, so where there can be one there can be more than one. Additionally while Muslims believe in Prophet Moses (PBUH) was given the 10 Commandments, they also believe in Prophet Adam (PBUH), who was born of no Father or Mother and came before Prophet Moses (PBUH), which is why they can believe that Prophet Jesus (PBUH) also only had a Mother. Therefore there were Prophets before Judaism and so too can be Prophets and holy books after the Jewish religion. I can’t recall right now but I think that in Islam Prophet Jesus (PBUH) is the Messiah (I need to check), I’m still confused on what the Holy Trinity is but that’s what the Christians believe in. The Jewish folk have not identified who the Messiah is yet and I think they believe there is no Prophets after the Jewish Prophets but there will be the coming of the Messiah (also known as a Prophet). Anyway I’m neither Jewish or of Arab DNA but as a Muslim found it all an eye opener. Especially one video which states that in the afterlife the ‘Gentiles’ will be the slaves of the Jewish chosen race but at the same the Jewish people had a ‘Gentile’ Prophet. All a bit contradictory. One last point I would like to make is that a Rabbi is a teacher and therefore like most average mere mortals can make mistakes, therefore it is better to pass on making a comment and instead give an opinion especially when it can easily be deemed offensive to the character of a deceased messenger if God. Criticisms should only be made if you can back it up by evidence. But most interesting still to gage other people’s viewpoint. I have virtually nil knowledge on theological matters but picked up a little today through research.

The Children of Ismael owned the earth from the Atlantic ocean in the west to the Pacific ocean in the east in a few years through prophet Muhammed after he broke the idols as his grandfather Ibrahim did and when the Arabs returned to worship the God of their grandfather.
Don't blame Sara for sending Ismael to Mecca because it was Allah order to Ibrahim to send him to Meca because blaming Sara and Ibrahim for the suffering of Ismael mean that prophet Ibrahim was unjust and a sinner.

One more reality, I have met many people of many religions. I never heard a Muslim saying Isaac is bad but a prophet. But Jews always say Ishmael is bad. He is this. He is that. The fact is that Ishmael was born first. Ishmael was Abraham's firstborn. The problem is Ishmael was born from an unwealthy mother but a blessed mother, a devotee of God. And Sarah, she always had a doubt in God (when God was talking to Abram about the coming of the new baby Isaac; Sarai was smiling inside, having doubt in God's word), although her husband Abraham was a devotee of God. So Ishmael was a great one, with whom God was.

Adam and Eve who sinned against God
    Noah who was always drunk
Abraham was idol worshiper (as this man alleged)
    Lot slept with his daughters
    Ishmael also sinned
    Jacob was the Deceiver
Esau slept around, murder and deny God
Jesus was put to death on a cross
What morality are we getting out of these unholy stories.(certainly I wouldn’t attribute them to God)
Whereas, The same people who were defied in the Bible are revered and honoured in the Qur’an and are exemplified by God as one of the greatest people walk on the face of the earth for Muslims to follow thus they are ranked the highest in the sight of Allah in his Final revelation to mankind al-Qur’an and Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)

In Islam, Abraham was a pure and righteous person even before prophethood. Having a noble charakter and sound intellect even in his early childhood. He was one of the chosen ones of Gods entire creations. Ishmael was also a very pure and good child. God ordered Abraham to take ishmael and his mother and build together a house of worship in the desert. Afterwards God commanded him to leave them there and it was ishmaels mission to teach the travelling and passing people about the one God and how to perform the rituals of worship there. Ishmael promised he would do so and stayed truthful to his promise until his death. This place today is the building of the holy kaaba which is also called the black stone. Abraham was very beloved to God and one of his best creations. God favoured him so much that he would never give him a bad child. Moreover Abraham would have never abandoned his child and his mother. He was too kind and good hearted. In fact God commanded him to leave them in the desert because God wanted it so. It was Gods plan to build also a nation out of ishmael. Ishmael should pass on his religion to his offspring. Besides he should teach the passing travellers about the one God and how to worship him. It was not a punishment that they were left there moreover they were blessed and given an important mission
For isaak God had also planned to form a nation out of him and he had his own mission.
Many centuries later Mohammed an ancestor of ishmael cleaned the kaaba from all the idols which had been placed there over the years and installed back the religion of the one God.
Sorry what the rabbi talks here is so unlogic. One should use his reason and not believe blindly. Unfortunately the jewish scholars later tried to make ishmael look bad. So that isaak and the position of the children of israel would be strengthened.

Quran (1-105) The disbelievers from the People of the Book and the polytheists would not want you to receive any blessing from your Lord, but Allah selects whoever He wills for His mercy. And Allah is the Lord of infinite bounty.
Or do you ˹believers˺ intend to ask of your Messenger as Moses was asked before?1 But whoever trades belief for disbelief has truly strayed from the Right Way.
Many among the People of the Book wish they could turn you ˹believers˺ back to disbelief because of their envy, after the truth has been made clear to them. Pardon and bear with them until Allah delivers His decision. Surely Allah is Most Capable of everything.

It is so very sad that the rabbi does not or perhaps refuses very stubbornly to acknowledge that the ALMIGHTY has designated that name onto Isma-EL. EL signifying of course that GOD's essence will reside with him till judgement day. Simply as a reminder to ALL future generations to recognise that truth. In fact the only other time the ALMIGHTY ELOHIM instructed such a notion, was to change prophet Jacob's name to Isra-EL. So to believe that one was of GOD's "chosen", without paying homage to the "EL" in the blessed name of Isma-EL, is not only without understanding, but extremely foolhardy as well!
Little wonder that the best of mankind in the form of prophet Muhammad(pbuh),sole mission on earth, was to guide all of mankind to the "EL" or ALLAH(SWT), if you like.
Peace to all the righteous of mankind.

Yaseen Ibn-Noor so do Jewish not believe that Mohammed was a descendant of Ismail? Was it actually written in their books then they took it out? Or is that even if he was, they don’t believe a prophet was going to come from Ismail’s lineage? I never knew that Jewish believe that Ismail existed.

Canaan grew up in a wicked home, but desiring righteousness, desiring wisdom, Noah noted that Canaan was cursed. Noah did not say that the brothers of Canaan were cursed, implying that the desire for self-improvement was not in them. To bless another is to help draw that person closer towards God, towards Life. And so Noah noted that Canaan's brothers (were they born yet?) would regard Canaan not as a brother, not as a son of Ham, but as a servant, indistinguishable from other servants... one of many... and that Canaan would be a servant of Shem, and of Japheth. From the movie, Dr. Strange : "Teach, me!" .. I think Terah, having grown up in the house of Shem was not wicked, like "Uncle Ham". For a parent is more likely to teach, give, lend, his own son wisdom, the true riches, than the servant first. It is interesting however to see this unbroken chain, from Seth to Noah to Abraham to Israel .. for you might think another child from another household might show more promise. Maybe another child did, but the story unfolds down through time, through the household of David, rather than Saul... You have self will, and self will is an illusion. .. You may attempt to heal, get better, stronger, and wiser, but how will you unless He allows it? Or causes it? And if you do not seek, how will you find? Or will it be given to you?

Here’s the difference between what Jews and Muslims beliefs: Jews believe that it was Abrahams own efforts that brought him the holiness whereas Muslims believe that God bestowed holiness to Abraham (and other holy men, of course) which purified him and not his own efforts. In fact, prophethood is not attained but in fact bestowed by the Grace of God.

According to this theory Jacob was also not perfect from the beginning, because he had such sons that sold Joseph into slavery and lied to the Father he was eaten by the wolfs.
The Rabbi is incoherent just because that Jacobs (Israels) sons are the Fathers of the Jewish Nation they have to be Perfect. Very dishonest. But i thank you for the Answer to this with hatred filld women i learned a lot from it this interpretation.
PS: Ishmael was not a bad person, he and his Mother were given a special task from God to stay in the Houshold of Abraham as she tried to flee, Ishmael got his Name from God and were send out in the Wasteland with good tidings and as part of God's covenant to Abraham to emerge as a great Nation. Jews have such transmissions in the Oral Torah that reveals the Care of Abraham upon Ishmael and the transformation of Hagar into Kethura as a perfected lady trough the care and tests of God given to her trough Abraham. If you look in the Samarithan Torah the hereket on the letters where Ishmael in your Torah is described as a wild Donkey and enemy to his brethren are different so that the meaning get that he will be a Fruitful and helping Man to his fellows. Look it up and get a bit honesty, so we can get much better along the way in Worshiping the God of Abraham in our distinct but connected traditions.
This all said in big respect to the Jewish tradition, their believers and learned Rabbis.
