  • In this video, we will explore the twelve tribes of Ishmael, investigating their ancient locations and identities. This will allow us to delve into the fascinating history of the Ishmaelites within the complex context of the ancient Middle East. The Ishmaelites, descendants of Ishmael, the firstborn of Abraham and Hagar, played an intriguing role in biblical narratives. Despite sharing a common lineage with the Israelites, the Ishmaelites rarely enjoyed extended periods of peace and often found themselves in direct conflict with the children of Israel, as described in the Bible. Therefore, understanding the identity of the Ishmaelites is crucial to deciphering the dynamics of Israelite history.
After leaving Abraham's household, Ishmael settled in the desert of Paran and married an Egyptian woman. His offspring gave rise to twelve Ishmaelite tribes leading a nomadic life in the Arabian Peninsula. The Ishmaelites also intermingled with other descendants of Abraham, such as the Midianites and Edomites. Due to the complex interactions and mixtures among the peoples of the ancient Near East, precisely tracking the fate of the Ishmaelites in history is a challenge. However, many Arabs still claim to be direct descendants of Abraham through Ishmael, maintaining an ancestral connection that spans centuries. The region of the ancient Middle East is undoubtedly one of the most captivating areas in the world, especially for those with a deep interest in sacred scriptures and the history of the people who inhabited it, including Arabs and Jews, alongside various other cultures that shared this region. Join us to explore The 12 Tribes of Ishmael and discover what has not been widely known about them.

Speaking of the nation of Israel, Deuteronomy 7:7-9 tells us, “The LORD did not set His affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath He swore to your forefathers that He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.”
God chose the nation of Israel to be the people through whom Jesus Christ would be born-the Savior from sin and death (John 3:16). God first promised the Messiah after Adam and Eve’s fall into sin (Genesis chapter 3). God later confirmed that the Messiah would come from the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Genesis 12:1-3). Jesus Christ is the ultimate reason why God chose Israel to be His special people. God did not need to have a chosen people, but He decided to do it that way. Jesus had to come from some nation of people, and God chose Israel.
However, God’s reason for choosing the nation of Israel was not solely for the purpose of producing the Messiah. God’s desire for Israel was that they would go and teach others about Him. Israel was to be a nation of priests, prophets, and missionaries to the world. God’s intent was for Israel to be a distinct people, a nation who pointed others towards God and His promised provision of a Redeemer, Messiah, and Savior. For the most part, Israel failed in this task. However, God’s ultimate purpose for Israel-that of bringing the Messiah into the world-was fulfilled perfectly in the Person of Jesus Christ.

The twelve tribes come from Isaac. his son Jacob, also known as “Israel”. (Genesis 35:10

But Isaac is the son of the promise. Ishmael is the son of the flesh. Both were blessed, but had different promises. Likewise the sons of Lot where not the sons of virtue. The children from Abraham and Katura were a different people altogether. All these people occupied similar lands and common lands, but had different cultures. All these people mentioned above have Abraham and Sarah's family line through Lot according to Josephus as her brother,or as Lot being Abraham's nephew. Either way, Abraham's lineage is in all these peoples, but only Isaac was of that covenant, the son of promise through which Abraham's descendants would bring the redeemer in his one seed, The Messiah

Abrahams brother Nahor also had 12 sons. These settled in Syria. One son, Maacah settled on the northern border of what later became the nation of Israel (called Abdel Maacah) and may be the source of the name "Bekka" Valley in southern Lebanon. The pronunciation change of Maacah to Bekka is similar to the different semitic dialectic changes just as Abraham can also be Avraham, Ibraham and Ibrahim depending its usage in Canaanite, Hebrew, Aramaic-Syriac or Arabic.

I enjoy learning about the family but it took an entire garage floor to sort out a family tree I could “see”
I have mind that learns differently so a seeable family tree became necessary to categorically each peoples offspring.

In fact, Hagger is thought to be buried adjacant to the Kaaba, that Abaraham and Ishmael re-built, on one of Abrahams visits to his son Ishmael. This information is in public domain. Ishmael children and the children of Jacob, aka Israel, are cousins. Ishmael is Jacob’s uncle. Ismael is brother to Issac and their children/descendants are cousins. Ishmael is also the uncle of Esau and their descendants are cousins, however, Esau went rogue against his brother Jacob and that left a bitter, sour taste in TMH God’s mouth.

God says in His book that He revealed to His Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace:
We conveyed to the Children of Israel in the Scripture that, "You will surely cause corruption on the earth twice, and you will surely reach [a degree of] great haughtiness.
So when the [time of] promise came for the first of them, We sent against you servants of Ours - those of great military might, and they probed [even] into the homes, and it was a promise fulfilled.
Then We gave back to you a return victory over them. And We reinforced you with wealth and sons and made you more numerous in manpower.
[And said], "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, [you do it] to yourselves." Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the temple in Jerusalem, as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction.
[Then Allah said], "It is expected, [if you repent], that your Lord will have mercy upon you. But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Hell, for the disbelievers, a prison-bed."
Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward

However it was said Ishmael shall be as a wild donkey , not getting along with anyone. And so they are. It was simply that Christ would come through the Davidic line which was Issacs line.

Most people don't know that there is a prophecy in the Old Testament that the sons of Ishmael will come to know Christ. It has yet to be completely fulfilled: "All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory." Isaiah 60:7 God had planned from the very beginning that both sons of Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac, would be fathers of great nations, and that their descendants would, through the glory of Messiah, come to the God of Zion. As you point out, Nebaioth and Kedar are the firstborn sons of Ishmael. This prophecy is coming true today as Christ appears to many Muslims in Saudi Arabia and other countries in that region in dreams and visions.

Isaac's name in Hebrew was not Ick or however you spelled it. Isaac in Hebrew is Yitzhaq. It meant laughter. Like a mocking laughter. When YHWH TSEVA'OTH told Avraham (Abraham) that his wife Sarah would bear him a son in her old age, Sarah overheard YHWH EL SHADDAI and she laughed like it was some kind of joke. I did not read that Abraham has desire for Hagar but Sarah mistakenly thought that if Hagar had a child that child would become hers. It was her hard lesson to learn that another woman's child would not necessarily become hers. Aslo of course her disbelief that God would provide her with a child.

In fact, all of them are settled in Saudi Arabia. They are the Saudis themselves, and some of them immigrated with the Islamic conquests in the seventh to the fifteenth century AD. Some of them migrated to North Africa, such as the Salim and Hilal tribes, and some of them did not immigrate from their homes, and they are Saudis. All of the Arabian Peninsula, and in particular the Saudis, have a different interconnected society and are very much in common genetically. In 4000 years, according to the Family Tree DNA website, the rate is 80%. By the way, Arabs are the people who preserve their lineage the most. For example, I can mention my lineage back to my fifteenth grandfather or more until I reach a common ancestor with another tribe, and so on. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
Genesis 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.
18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.
19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
20 And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
21 And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.
Genesis 25:12 ¶ Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
14 And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
17 And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.
18 And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.

It sounds like a "Notion" or a "Mirage" (Optical illusion), a result of the hardships of living in the desert.
The Natives of Africa, The Natives of the Americas are not God's Chosen ?... Why ?... Why the jews ?
And why not the Amish and Menonites ?... Or why not all the Children of the World ?... Why the jews ?
Why didn't the Slavs write their own bible ? they were not desert people, they were already living in God's Country.

Israelites are not jews, they descended from Judah or kingdom of judea hence the name, they were hostile to anyone not allied to them - only tribe of benjamin allied with some levites and simeonites. All if not most of the remaining 10 tribes split off causing a schism within the children of israel.

Man is created to praise, reverence, and serve God our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.
And the other things on the face of the earth are created for man and that they may help him in prosecuting the end for which he is created.
From this it follows that man is to use them as much as they help him on to his end, and ought to rid himself of them so far as they hinder him as to it.
For this it is necessary to make ourselves indifferent to all created things in all that is allowed to the choice of our free will and is not prohibited to it; so that, on our part, we want not health rather than sickness, riches rather than poverty, honor rather than dishonor, long rather than short life, and so in all the rest; desiring and choosing only what is most conducive for us to the end for which we are created

Ishmaelites and Israelites, two men at odds with one another and founded the two nations that would continue their rivalry, when will it end? Abraham is noted because of his faith in God and his promises, so where did he get side tracked? I think Sara was much more desparate to have a child than Abraham and understandibly so and this may well be the reason she referred her husband Abraham to Hagar and hence the rivalry between their descendants, faith or lack of faith, God now had some patchwork to do.

Islam was not formed until the 7th Century, just as Christianity did not form until two thousand years after Abraham. However, Christ is Jehovah of Armies, God with us , since everlasting.
And of course you have many so-called Christians cults that have emerged in the last two hundred years. And yet Jesus is jewish but ended the levitical priesthood, for He is the author and finisher of our faith. Our everlasting High Priest. He left us the power of The Holy Spirit that the Church may witness of His Sacrifice and Grace. Not sects and denominations, but one body, one Head. Christ Jesus

@Humungozz Abraham was black, and Egyptians were black. If they were white, how could Abraham be the father of many nations(Nationalities) when whites can only give birth to white people, which are the least of all people on the earth. Abraham is the father of the Ishmaelites, and the nationalities he fathered after Sarah died, including Issac. Issac is the father of Esau/Idumea/Edomites/Caucasians/Mt Seir. Issac also fathered Yahcoob/Jacob, who is the father of all 12 tribes of the chosen people of the most high Yah....Isaiah 29:22 Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale......Jeremiah 14:2 Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.

Many people do not know that the term Hebrew has nothing to do with ethnicity. Everyone who crossed a river or a piece of land was called Hebrew. It comes from the Arabic root for crossing a distance! Abraham, Sarah and Lot were called Hebrew s because the crossed land or a river. That doesn’t mean their descendants also inherit that title. There were many Hebrews at time who had nothing to do with each other.

God replies: "As for Ishmael, I have heard you", and goes on to say that Ishmael shall father twelve nesi'im (the word means "elevated ones", or important persons; most translations read "princes") and become a great nation (Gen. 17:20), but Isaac is the one with whom God will establish his covenant ...There is no mention of the 12 Tribes of ishmeal ishmeal anywhere in the Bible. ..👉🏻Isaac
