Evening Trains at Southampton Airport Parkway, SWML - 18th September 2023

Hello and welcome all to my Subscribers and to anyone who has visted my channel to view my latest video.
On Monday evening 18th September, I visited Southampton Airport Parkway Station.
I always enjoy coming back here, station is decent. It sits perfectly right next to the Southampton Airport, and you can watch planes arriving and take off from the footbridge.
And you can also hear them taking off while standing on Platform.
Thos station does have good facilities, there is a little coffee shop and waiting room, Ticket Office, and Toilets all in the main little building.
View vantage point wise, very good. Really like the long view that look towards Eastleigh & London.
There are good few mixture of trains.
We have mostly SWR Desiro 444 & 450, DMU 158, 701 Arterio on it’s test run, Cross Country Voyagers, and also Freights and Class 66 pulling Ballast trucks.
Overall I had nice time been there, will definitely come back again.

Great video at Southampton Airport Parkway Joe. You did very well there mate, sometimes Southern trains do call at Southampton Airport on the Southampton Central/Brighton via Eastleigh service. Can you do trains at Reading West pls.

Hi Arnold. Yeah I know Southern pass this stops at Parkway. That’s only in daytime, the only odd train services in the evening is GWR Cardiff - Portsmouth Harbour at 22:00. I’m planning on returning to Reading sometime the week after next. I have yet got 3 other videos left to edit and produced. I will visit Reading West in near future, but not anytime soon as I have other plans to visit!
