nope...$500 !?! ...just paid $170 for that C189 (MD500) that l had for 4 Min.. 'till it Flew Off Goodness knows where ...found out later from RcEra , "SOME were released w a BAD MOTHERBOARD" ...Lucky Me...... plus now we can getta DJI for $300 ?...Hmmmm :^l

I don’t know why this one is such a hard pill to swallow, but it is. Something about it being in the $500 range is just so off putting to most of us. Regardless, it does look really nice and flies super scale! Wish ours didn’t have a broken landing gear 😅💯⚓️
@TheRcSaylors if it was twice the size, many would understand the price, but the Eachine E135 F06 is nearly the same size, give or take an inch here or there. So it a real put off. OJ is like $7 a gallon! It’s insane! However, there are more affordable options out there. We featured a $100 helicopter 11 months ago on our channel that does almost everything this helicopter does! 👍💯😎⚓️
Hard pass for me. Would not pay more than $200 USD on that thing, tax included too. But that’s just me lol
500 is just way too much. Remember when eflites sold for 229
How is it possible for children to pay 500 for a toy. Maybe this is why the flight fields are void of new flyers.
They don't want the hobby so definitely don't want kids getting ideas. Get back to that screen little one 😂
This helicopter definitely isn’t meant for children. We featured a helicopter on our channel about 11 months ago that is under $100 and does ALMOST everything this helicopter does 🚁👍💯😎⚓️

The cost of this helicopter is just as surprising as the Coast Guard version. Apparently enough people bought that version for them to make this one. 🙃⚓️

I am looking for a inexpensive helicopter for under 100.00 dollars. Just so I can get started in the hobby. You make great videos and love seeing you both. Keep up the good videos. Art
I think I would be a bit more concerned about the difficulty in repairing the wheel than in not being able to get it to fly inverted. Repairability is important with any RC aircraft. Even the best RC pilots have something go wrong from time to time, and repairs become necessary.
Look at how far scale helicopters have come !!!! I have been so busy I haven't even been out flying since January or Febuary.

I checked on another rc channel, to do the inverted flight you must push the idle up switch toward you inorder to switch from 6G to 3D mode. This for the Eachine E200 Blackhawk version. This model is similar to the one you posted!
Still a very cool copter. I like the GPS which keeps copter in place hands free.
This just might get me into coppers, it's just a dream of mine.

I want an “Airwolf” or an MD-500 variant version of this
one might be able to acquire an old 400 size t-rex and a fusuno or similar brand fiberglass body airwolf (with lg retract ability) for about 3-400. of course it would require some investigation and assembly but fairly regular, random scale deals on forum classifieds.

500 dollars seems a lot for a small heli, is that normal?
Helis this size that are not scale usually 250-350 depending on age/quality of electronics.
A large portion of the cost is the scale body and the detailed parts. Though I think it should be closer to 400 range.
The head isn't very scale looking being as bulky and tall as it is and i didn't notice any lighting led's beyond the green one on top.
There are also means of making the body oneself through some niche vendors. (they can sell the vacuum formed/3d printed parts and you can put it together and paint etc).

I don't think it's possible for this heli to fly upside down as it has no collective pitch control. Collective pitch is required for inverted flight.

@@TheRcSaylors yeah definitely I asked them long time ago after they brought out the v1 uh60 back hawk army version to make a yh1 huey or ah64 apache and they have very nicely done bit worried on the landing wheels held on by thin tube :-(so be careful when any getting it not to hard landing it's the d version long bow with the radome on top fo9 battery clips underneath like all the fo9 n fo9s frames be designed different maybe due to the apache fuselage being narrow. Say 1 or 2 months they mite release it just hope its not expensive like the fo9 or fo9s £600 don't be a greedy company drop the price to a nice n affordable price and they will sell loads ;-)

I looks great!! I have a couple of Eachine 6 channel helicopters. Probably the same as what’s under that. I would never buy that for $500. There are so many other choices for less money and more capable for what you want to do. I gave up trying to fly 3D. I rather fly scale but wanted to try 3D. Just too expensive trying. I also wouldn’t get all bent out of shape saying that you were trying to sell us garbage and the say I’m going to unsubscribe. That’s just very childish. Like a spoiled rotten child!! Just keep doing what you’re doing. But don’t think you need to fly 3D for your audience. Especially a helli like that. One small crash and it will be destroyed!! That helicopter would have looked great just driving around scale. Also when you first turned it on . Most helicopters have to be totally level. That could have created a problem. Just keep up the great content. Don’t have to impress us. You already impressed us a long time ago!!👍👍👍

100% Agreed! It’s absolutely impacting us as well. While we are Blessed in some aspects of our lives, others have taken hits. Overall, life’s still good though. We are strongly looking into more budget friendly options for our channel in the future, so stay tuned for that! 😁⚓️
You have to land to go into stunt mode or rate mode. That's how most of the GPS helis I have flown are. 500 dollars is expensive. We can all thank the current president for that. A regular box of Rice Crispies cereal is 10 dollars now. It was only 4 dollars 3.5 years ago. That is what happens when you think you can depend on other countries for oil and spend money on a war that is not ours. America should look like Dubai or Warshaw before we spend tax dollars on other countries. Information has gotten ridiculous and I'm pissed. We need you new faces in our government. Cost of all new rc is insane. Always try to buy slightly used at half price. Remember when a new heli was 200. 500 to 660 for a new rc truck is way over priced.
