  • Join our Wanderlodge rally as I catch glimpses of these fine coaches departing the rally circle at it's official end. The musical horn is a much loved (and sometimes hated) feature on most Wanderlodge coaches. While it offers a selection of 100 songs, it’s a tradition that when one departs from a rally they play “On the Road Again”. Even still I almost always choose a song I’m not sick of hearing and I'm not alone. You will hear several other songs during this video. For those shopping for a “new” coach, you will see 20 and even 30 year-old coaches that except for their superior construction cannot be distinguished from far less well-built new coaches. All were put together like no other production motorhome. If you are considering a Wanderlodge they are worth the effort it takes to keep them in top shape and happy hunting if you're looking for one!!
After the circle cleared out, I stayed an additional 2 weeks to do some work and also have the opportunity for some slightly more serious off-roading. One of my fellow coach owners Bad-Andy and I did indeed find some more challenging trails that tested our Jeeps and their owners metal. You can expect to see those upcoming videos next.
As I say on this one, it’s a great way to travel! I hope you enjoy this NoGas video and have a wonderful Wanderlodge day!

Thanks. You're gonna love the Jeep'n videos with Andy that I'm working on right now. Will be releasing first big one on Friday 5/6. Was like the never ending day of amazing wheeling. We had SO MUCH fun! Unfortunately, most of what we did is maybe beyond typical Bird Jeep'n crowd at Q. Last thing I would want is to get one of them into trouble out on the trail. When you see Part 2 on Fri and especially the next Part 3, you'll know what I mean.

Makes me nostalgic for my parents. They had a couple of Wanderlodge Coaches during the late 1980's. I would vist them at various rallies around the country, like the "Rally in the Valley" in Perry GA. I'd like to think their coaches are still on the road. That one at 2:36 looks just like one they had.

Know exactly how you feel. When it came time to sell my parents coach that I inherited, it was difficult because of all the memories we had together in that one.

Sadly as the years go by and no new Wanderlodges are built, there are fewer and fewer attending Q. In the next few weeks, I’ll be posting a quick walk-around of the Birds that were there this year (about 30 + SOB’s in 2024). Dates of the Quartzsite rally are commonly the last two weeks of January, with the main second week coinciding with the Q Big Tent event. Wish I could get the Q vids I took out more quickly. However, right now getting our coach ready for the big 2024 Texas Eclipse Rally 1st week of April is the priority. There will be 120 coaches there with some additional number either in the area or overflow! Watch for those vids in Apr to May. Thanks for watching 🙂

Many thanks! Is fun doing them. It's the editing & how long that takes which is a pain. Don't know how the professional YT'ers do it!

I have fun doing them and enjoy going back to some of the older ones too. Got many comments this year about my Summer trip vids and was surprised.

Best to first join (free) the WanderlodgeOwnersGroup.com forum. Then go to the Rallies thread to find information about the largest Wanderlodge rally of the year at Pine Mountain GA (Oct 18-22 2023). THAT would be a great way to see more Wanderlodges that you can possibly imagine. The WOG forum has TONS of information about them. Pay particular attention to the Looking and Newbie thread sections. Good Luck!

Watch the videos for basic info. Attend a rally if you have time. At the Pine Mountain rally there will be almost 100 coaches in attendance.

Yes been doing our all-summer travels for several years. Many videos on the site. Before that we took trips in it when we could, sandwiched between my job. Thanks for watching!

Nice to have you “on board”, welcome! We have owned our M380 Bluebird Wanderlodge for almost 10 years and love it. A good starting place would be www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.com/ - a wealth of information, free to join and great people there.
