Watching Kelly & Scott playing Whack-a-Mole with the rattles and squeaks was a very familiar activity, I've done it on a few new cars - I "won" a great collection of tools and other things that had been left there like on the production line.

I have a '84 36 foot Wanderlodge with a 6V92 and when you get the rattles done it is sweet. Even the engine noise is just right and I open the windows to hear that sweet exhaust, especially going into tunnels!
You know, those 40 footers need 40 acres to turn. My short bus will U-turn in only 6 lanes of traffic! :)

When I worked at a TV shop, a customer brought in a TV that was "making a squeal noise." I was young at the time, around 18, but I, the boss, or the other technician couldn't hear anything. When the secretary showed up for work, she told us "that noise from that TV is driving me crazy!"

I used to be able to hear those, tube TVs had flyback transformers that often made noise. I used to be able to hear a few of the motion sensors used in alarms and even a remote control that used sound. Age took care of that issue! lol

Kelly is certainly a lovely person, if you think those rattles are bad, come to the UK and drive a 3.5t Motorhome, coil front springs, but bone shaking leaf on the back, air suspension is available but it is only an assist not full air, the build quality is awful, same for European vans too, that glass of water on the dash would have been mostly on the floor.
Keep on Keeping on all of you, from a very jealous 72 yearold UK motorhomer.

That turn signal reminds me of the ones we had in our Gillig low floors (can’t stand those, try getting the rattles out of that), except several octaves higher. If I absolutely had to, I’d blink twice, though avoided signaling at all costs. I signal religiously, like I did when I was on an MCI, very quiet, not a peep. Those beepers (as expressed here) just prohibit their usage, even on these short runs, never mind being in one all day, every day.

My turn signal in my IVECO made no sound at all… and there is nothing more humiliating than realizing you have been driving down the highway for that last 30 minutes with your blinker on! So, it was so nice to add an obnoxiously loud beeper to my turn indicator > I added a Piezo beeper to my turn signal light and now that doesn’t happen anymore!!!
    Lol 😊.
    Love your show…
It is hard to find a real mechanic and someone you can trust… I Discovered that there are many terrible, lazy & dishonest mechanics out there & because I have unfortunately done business with them !!!

That turn signal sound he has installed reminds me of the newer Gillig Low Floor buses hazard lights beeper. It beeps in rhythm with the turn signals but only in hazard light mode. It gets your attention but it's not as annoying. It's a shorter meep, meep, meep, meep sound. Maybe he just needs a less annoying but still noticeable noisemaker.

So Scott, I have been looking at coaches for a while now, I really pay attention to the engine bays, and have noticed different manifolds for the turbo, some are rusty looking pipe, and others appear to be some sort of larger cast material, usually painted a grey color, then on like the engine here in the video, it has a blanket on all of the different parts, and I'm sure that, that is for heat management, I have even seen the mufflers with blankets, again for heat management. What is the best set up, do they have aftermarket systems that would be considered an upgrade, I'm just trying to learn all that I can. I live in Texas, and we have some really hot summers, and believe it or not some very cold days in the winter, not consecutively but it does get cold here, so I would want a set up that would cause the least heat in the summer.
Also what are your suggestions for AC? Again I'm still learning, I have heard the terms, "Bus air" "Basement air" "Cruise air" and then of course the top mounted ACs, we call them "Taco boxes" down here. I'd like your opinion on that as well, I have heard that the cruise air can be very expensive to repair if not working, and nothing last forever, unless you keep it well maintained.
