It’s actually kind of crazy how quickly Mike can find a story like these, get all the details, write a script, find relevant footage and make all of them run over 20 minutes. Bravo, chap
how she weaponized her own son against his father is just disgusting. Such a horrible mother - and wife for that matter. I'm glad that Michael at least managed to get the hell out of dodge with the two youngest kids.
The footage of her son talking about "what happened" is scary. He was smiling and talking about it like he was explaining an action more to a friend, not explaining a scary and traumatic story. He was fully prepared to frame an innocent man and let his mom get away with it. He seems excited to play his role.
How tf did she still get visitation rights for her kids after being found guilty of 1st degree murder and making fake reports about her husband’s abuse. How did she also get her half of the first divorce after having an affair and trying to kill her husband? It’s beyond belief
Yep, an abusive murderer, but she’s the mom. So dad has to fight tooth and nail for anything. Reverse the roles, you think the dad would get any parental rights?
There is a general belief, supported by legislation, that whenever possible, _both_ parents should have access to their children, even in extreme cases where one parent is in prison, or where one parent may be a threat to their child(ren) and can only get _supervised_ visits with their children. There are many cases around the world that prove this point, and commonly an immigrant parent won't be allowed to take their children out of the country, away from their spouse who is a native of the country where they are an immigrant.
I honestly have no clue how you can get more details sharing 30 minutes on a case than watching hours and hours from several different platforms covering the same story. You have such an amazing gift.
There’s a 2 hour in depth podcast on this case. He’s lifted most of the info from there and so much was left out. The real credit goes to the people who produced that podcast, they interviewed people who were involved in this case. Mike is talented but he’s just regurgitating someone elses hard work.
She is what I call a *twist*. You have a normal life happening and suddenly you meet a new friend, lover, etc. All of a sudden, there's weird drama going on. Once removed from your life, it returns to normal. These people are insidious. There's always something with them.
I for one am glad that Mike was able to get back to Australia with the kids. YIKES. My heart broke when Dustin's father took his own life because he couldn't live without his son. :(
My heart broke too. I can bet the amount of hate Dustin was getting from everyone factored into it. The poor kid was well known and loved in his town, but that vile woman played the victim and everyone believed her. I can't imagine how painful it would be to raise a good kid, he gets murdered and then the memory of him is completely destroyed.
A senseless murder committed by a narcissist. I’m so saddened for Dustin and his father. RIP. Not to forget the poor animals who were sold as objects to a lab to be tortured. Unbelievable.
Incredibly senseless, innocent folk destroyed by Tracey. I cannot imagine what Dustin was thinking in his last moments, horrifying. RIP those pets who thought they were loved - Rest in peace to both Dustin and Father, they deserved absolutely none of torment they went through.
Remember when good old Pam Hupp paid that guy to come to her house in guise of reenacting something, and then killed him in "SELF DEFENSE"? After she murdered someone else and watched someone go down for a murder they didn't commit. I see a lot of similarities . A narcissists folly is thinking they have thought through it all, that they are so smart, smarter than everyone else. It's so satisfying to see people like this be brought to justice. Great story Mike, as always!
His brother also passed during all of this. He was a super cool guy...I may be mistaken, but last I checked, he still held an 8th mile record at a local drag strip.
The fact she destroyed everyone she could and sacrificed a kind decent and gentle young man like Dustin and eventually also his father, is so heartbreaking and evil I can barely believe it. And all for a possible frame up. Is there anyone more evil than the demon she is?
this man’s videos are structured and better than most professional documentaries i’ve ever seen... i love that he adds pictures that were probably hard to research because it makes the whole thing so detailed and real unlike stock images/censorship.

@@cherylsurplice1417 yeah. I could only imagine my brother dying and my parent killed themselves over it. Not to mention all the sadness endured up to that point
Even after getting a life sentence, she STILL had the audacity to tell Dustin's family that she didn't murder their son. I'm also forever disgusted by our justice system and how they almost always favor the mother, regardless of how diabolical or psychotic they may be.
At last people are waking up to the judicial double standards when it comes to custody court battles. All pple should be considered equal regardless gender.
People in general are like this, "they almost always favor the mother, regardless of how diabolical or psychotic they may be." This is how my mother ruined my life, she knew how to manipulate others, and slander her victim. My circumstances, and disabilities made it so easy for her. Now I'm over 40, life ruined, and I'm suicidal. It's terrible how diabolical malicious narcissists can get away with ruining people's lives.
Yet she couldn’t look them in the eye when she said it. The rest of the time she’s crying with dry eyes and looking up, but that one statement? Couldn’t say it to their face.
I think differently. I think it’s bc of the bond formed between mother and child is, or in my experience, is usually a bit stronger b/w mother and child than father and child. Def not in every case but I think of it as kind of a guideline. Again, not in every case but women CAN be more nurturing.
I know someone who was going to get thrown out of her place by her partner, she then had his kid just to have an extra 9 months and change just to have a roof over their head.
The idea that with 8 billion people, everyone just has a "fundamental human right" to have as many children as they want, whenever they want, under any circumstances, is absolutely insane to me. Always has been. If we were an endangered species ok fine, but we are quite the opposite. From drug/alcohol addicted people on welfare to people with horrible genetic disorders that are certain, or even 50% likely to be passed to their children, to people with no money to afford to raise a child, it’s INSANE that you need a license to cut hair and make floral arrangements, but not to reproduce. Aside from health and psychological tests, a child license (per child) should cost $50,000, like a bond you put up and get back, with interest, when the child turns 18. If you don’t have $50k that you can spare, sorry but you absolutely cannot afford a child. But… but… hitler! Stfu.

I am SO furious for Dustin's family, his poor father! Shooting himself by his sons grave because of his grief and shock on what his son 'did', and it was all a LIE. It's so sick..
I comment on this tidbit as well.... Here is what my comment says... *"KITTY GOT CLAWS is drowning in sarcasm... We know where this is going.... subtle or not so subtle hints duly noted!*
That family has experienced bereavement through homicide, experiencing the false shame of their child being falsely accused of murder and bereavement through suicide. These two forms of bereavement are the most traumatic forms of grief someone could experience. My heart goes out to them and they will be in my prayers.
Yes that’s absolutely terrible, tragic and sad. When a father/mother has to bury their still-relatively-young offspring, the grief this brings is beyond compare. Deep psychological chasms are forced open; the established assumption that a child will eventually have to deal with the death of their far-older parent is challenged, and tragically, the damage that this often causes, proves simply unbearable. 😥
This has brought me close to 'trigger point'! My son's mother pulled some of those things on me and it leads to a very peculiar mindset and a lot of lost sleep. You begin to doubt yourself, and find it difficult to explain the behaviour to others because some of it sounds so unbelievable. Especially when the female is attractive and apparently gregarious. I was on the receiving end of a shedload of very painful emotional and physical abuse from her, and, to end the perfect day, like Tracey's ex, wound up in a police cell because of her lies. But hey, at least it got me away from her for a few hours I guess... Thankfully, so I understand from the various agencies I've become acquainted with through all that, the male partners are now being listened to more carefully, more often, as the civil lawsuits have been stacking up where the male was treated so unfairly. My advice to any guy on the receiving end of psychological and/or physical abuse is: 1)TELL SOMEONE. As soon as possible. Especially if there are (or she's threatened) accusations of abuse by you. Don't worry about how it sounds, just get it out there. 2) Run. Put miles between you if possible. 3) Change your number and, if you have kids or another reason where some limited contact is needed, get a number for her only which you can switch off to give you respite. (You begin to react physically to the sound of her text tone and it eventually causes a horrible stress/anxiety reaction. I've even had a gut-wrenching spasm when someone in a shop near me received a text on their phone from someone with 'her' text tone!) If I'd have done those things early enough I could have swerved CPTSD and a mountain of stress. Sorry for the ramble, but like I said, slightly triggered! ...aaaaand relaxxxx...
As you likely know, your ex was a narcissist. I thought i knew what narcissism was until i ended up in a relationship with one (and ended up with cptsd, as you describe). When the woman in this video was described as being "everything they could've ever wanted in a woman" it was such alarm bells for a narcissist
And, keep a diary, they're admissible in court. Get a restraining order. Have all child exchanges in public, preferably at a police station, video record all interactions, use text only- never phone calls, send a diary with the kids of their appointments & any updates, ONLY write necessities about the kids in it- send it with them for all visits. Try to bring a witness to every exchange. That's the only way to stop the psychos.
I'm saddened you went through that, and I think the advice you shared is so helpful - for both guys & girls, actually! I do hope you find peace & will one day no longer feel that charge when something like this whilst watching something like this.
The fact that Bert Richter commented about this video and was upset that Mike talked down on his family makes me wonder why he's still backing up someone who clearly murdered not only an innocent boy but basically is the reason the father is gone too.. May they rest in peace.
Dustin's father unable to live without his son is so unbelievably sad. Reminds of hearing my Dad talk about how hard it was to be "without his son", talking about me when I was going through a horrible heroin addiction. I was lucky enough to get clean and mend our relationship before he passed away a few years back. I've managed to stay clean since, and just knowing he was willing to do anything to help me, and did do everything he could, is a big help. The guilt is tough though.
None of us can go back and redo any of our mistakes we’ve made, but you got off heroin (how crazy tough that must’ve been, I can’t even imagine) and let your Dad know how much all of his support meant to you. That’s a wonderful, good thing you did, for him and for you.

Cause Bert had to help her cover it up somehow or she was able to put on an act real well. Cause he's talking about almost hitting her with a bat and the 2 bad guys beating on the door trying to get in.l So I don't know how she could pull all this off without poor Bart being in it and covering for his mom for whatever reason. I dunno... I'm real confused on how she pulled it off. OH OH OH cause... also... there was gunfire and then a lull and then more gunfire. How is she explaining this to the kids? *I just don't know but I've got many many MANY Questions about all of that."* And poor Bart is gonna figure it out 1 of these days when he's older and it's gonna be devastating for him when it all hits him and realizes how *he helped her cover the murder of an innocent man to frame his own dad so mom wouldn't have to share custody of him.*
And in the courtroom hearing her *fake cry and say "I do believe that you deserve justice, I really do. But... [dramatic pause] I didn't murder your son."*

The real tragedy here is that she took the life of such a young man who most likely looked up to her. Dustin Wehde didn't deserve to die and his poor father didn't deserve to lose a child..
Another sad story of suicide, a mother whose young son was put in prison had called her and begged her for a certain amount of money or he was going to be killed. Now this mom nor her family had no knowledge of how things are in prison, she had joined a social media group when her son had been sentenced, trying to learn from others how to deal with it, the emotions an all. So she took to the media site wanting to know should she send the money. It was a split comments, some saying yes send the money, then contact the prison letting them know you're being extorted for money, others said no, never send money by cash apps or green dot cards, they lie an use the money for drugs. So she didn't send the money, and her son had been stabbed to death. She went into a mental break down, her husband had to take her to the ER. Days later she took took a gun they owned and killed herself. She just couldn't live thinking it was her fault.
Scratched my head trying to figure out how one woman could do so many things and escape consequences over and over and over. Then they mentioned she had a brother in the police…and it all clicked into place. Certainly not the first time. She sounds like a real life factor 1 psychopat
RIGHT? I thought the exact same thing. could've gotten her on conspiracy to commit murder right there and caught a hired gun while you're at it. guess he preferred to let someone else get killed instead

Dustin's mom is a hero, despite all the heartbreak of losing her son and her husband she never stopped pushing to have her son's name cleared and his murderer brought to justice. Shame she didn't figure more in Mike's retelling but then again there are tons of detail to squeeze into a short span.

Dustin's uncle also passed from cancer before Brett took his own life. This monster put that family through an unfathomable amount of pain. Those girls deserved so much better.
The system is set up against men. When it comes to divorce or custody of children, home and finances... they'd rather leave children with a neglectful or abusive mother than give the children to a father..
It really is. We, as a society, have to stop tolerating & giving into crazy ass bitches, whether they have kids or not. It doesn’t matter. Dads are sooo important and the problems the US is suffering are from minimizing fathers. It’s so sad because fathers are so important in children’s lives.
Very much so. There's so many women who don't understand how to prioritise their kids but still get full custody. I had a ex friend who kept moving 6 to 8 hours away. Must have moved to 4 different cities over 4 years. Devastated that her ex partner wouldn't let her drag her child around the country with her new boyfriend. She eventually moved away permanently. And her wee boy stayed here. Not being uprooted every few months and changing schools at 6 year old. And she thought she was in the right. For dudes who don't have enough support of friends and family, it's unfairly detrimental to their mental health. Especially when so often, the most affected are the people who'd make the best parents, because they've been dealing with mental abuse of being in the relationship too.

Same. Really odd for an introverted kid to be hanging around a grown woman on his free time especially when they have nothing in common. I was raised by a narcissistic sociopath--my dad. His behavior and Tracy's behavior are eerily similar. The cheating, the extreme violence, the lying and blaming others, endless revenge attempts, never knowing what to expect from them. Her poor children have most definitely suffered a lot. I feel their pain. 😪
Wow!.... all love and grace to you. Life goes onward and you have to become a stronger more resilient human as a result. We all deal with them in life, mine were relationships, and im damaged by it.
I dealt with a very similar woman. I still can’t talk to the daughter we had together and it took several years to get my oldest one back. The courts never even consider that the man could be innocent and the woman the abuser no matter the evidence. At least nobody has been killed in my situation, hopefully my daughter is safe
My brother has had the same! His ex pretty much ruined him and almost 15 years after continues to try to harm him. She has kept his daughter from him and all the courts in New Mexico don’t help fathers at all. It’s so sad to see evil people win
It’s because the US family court system is intentionally broken and corrupt and it still treats women as if they can’t do anything but raise children at home as was the case decades ago

Because even though women cry that we live in a society we clearly have the favor of the court system.. kinda disgusting tbh

Having a child in order to fix a marriage is one of the most evil things someone can do.

...and yet, so many do that!
It actually wasn't the most evil thing she did, but I know what you mean
evil, and also stupid!

I’m familiar with this story but didn’t know that Dustin’s father killed himself out of grief. That is so awful 😭
She’s a horrible person, no father should have to go through that
That family has experienced bereavement through homicide, experiencing the false shame of their child being falsely accused of murder and bereavement through suicide. These two forms of bereavement are the most traumatic forms of grief someone could experience. My heart goes out to them and they will be in my prayers.
She should be held legally responsible for his father’s death!
Ditto. I've seen this story on 48 hours and TCD but didn't know of the dad's suicide. So awful.
I've even had a gut-wrenching spasm when someone in a shop near me received a text on their phone from someone with 'her' text tone!)
If I'd have done those things early enough I could have swerved CPTSD and a mountain of stress. Sorry for the ramble, but like I said, slightly triggered! ...aaaaand relaxxxx...
Hope you'll get better. Best of Success to you!
As you likely know, your ex was a narcissist. I thought i knew what narcissism was until i ended up in a relationship with one (and ended up with cptsd, as you describe). When the woman in this video was described as being "everything they could've ever wanted in a woman" it was such alarm bells for a narcissist
Good advice there, sadly, men don't tend to talk about being abused, I hope you're ok and thanks for sharing your experience, that takes courage.

The fact she got the first kid after being proven to be lying and forging a signature baffles me.
Classic female privilege 🤷♂️ not surprised really
Yep female privilege :) it's kinda sad when it's about parenting. Almost sickening in alot of cases 😥
And now the kid has grown up brainwashed into believing her innocence, and is wasting his youth trying to get her freed. Who knows what would've happened differently if the sane parent had gotten the poor kid. I never understood the whole "have a kid to save a marriage" idea, this story is an example (admittedly an extreme one) of why it's maybe not a great idea to bring a child into a dysfunctional marriage.
My son has had custody of his 12yo son for 9 yrs now. Sometimes it really is about how much you care and the kind of parent you are..
Systematic sexism.

Dustin's mom is a hero, despite all the heartbreak of losing her son and her husband she never stopped pushing to have her son's name cleared and his murderer brought to justice. Shame she didn't figure more in Mike's retelling but then again there are tons of detail to squeeze into a short span.

MAG tow!! RED 💊.
*"Johns", "Michaels"

The most appalling aspect of this story is the number of times the courts gave this woman custody of her children.
As a father who had to fight (and often lose) for custody of his daughters, this hits me hard. All too often they just immediately assume the fathers a deadbeat and the mom should get the kids.
