Are you going to do a video on the bedding in procedure for new parking brake shoes? It’s essential. It involves driving at 30mph and applying the handbrake in a very precise sequence of events. All in the official workshop manual.

Hi Rob! Yes, of course! 👍🏻 The video is currently in the making 😉 And it's going to be an interesting one because, for the first time, I'm going to have to do an adjustment on the workshop manual and it will have its own twist 🫢

Looking forwards to watching later. Just wanted to let you know that my top end (passenger side) cam cover swap is going well so far. Your videos couldn't have been more helpful. I'm so grateful. I'd dropped the suspension so I could reach over the top of the engine (and to get it in the shed) so jacking up the diff was a little challenging! I ended up using the scissor style jack from my Skoda - very sketchy but it worked ;). New cover torqued up and all injectors fitted! Big relief - just hope it all starts when back together - Cheers guys

Hi Ant! 😁 We are SO HAPPY to hear that you're progressing - since our Part 4 video of the Oil Leak Series, we've been looking forward to hearing an update from you on this! 🥳 This is great news! 👏🏻 As long as it worked with the scissor style jack, that's fine - sometimes we have to do sketchy things to get there! 😄 Let us know more updates, and please make sure to keep in touch if you struggled with starting the car. We're right here if you have any questions at all 😊
P.S. - Make sure you turn the ignition on and off at least 5 times before starting the car, to purge the air out of the fuel lines. 👍🏻 The more you do it, the better it will be. You turn the ignition on, wait 10-15 seconds, then turn the ignition off. By doing so, the fuel pump will turn on and push the air out. 👍🏻

Great video and excellent editing. I have a RRS L320 where the hand brake system is very similar. And I have this job to do soon as I'm renewing the entire brake system including parking brake actuator. Thanks again.

Hi Ceri, welcome to our channel! 😁👋🏻 Thank you very much for your amazing comment and great feedback. 😊 Knowing that it was helpful to you makes all the sleepless nights of working on our videos worthwhile!! If you want an even more detailed video, we recommend watching Part 1, and this is the link for it - I explain in a very boring (😅) and detailed way each step of how to do it: th-cam.com/video/_WyWtLhFYE0/w-d-xo.html
Good luck with the job, and let us know how you get on! 👍🏻 If you have any questions at all, just drop us a comment! Keep in touch! 😀

Hi, I made a video about replacing the left parking brake shoes, where I added the details of all the sizes of bolts, torques, screws and everything else required, hopefully you'll find this useful! 👍🏻The video is a lot more detailed than this one - th-cam.com/video/_WyWtLhFYE0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=p-SEyupfCPFDR8ct
