I sold my Glock 48 and Hellcat. Now it was the original Hellcat which was super snappy and not accurate. The comp version probabaly solves the issues. Glock 48 was terrible. I just bought the Shield Plus performance Center carry comp. It literally shoots like a full size gun. Absolutely amazing. Best carry gun to date

One thing I love about the Shield plus is how S&W kept the grip short and just put grip extensions on the extended mags for people who may not be able to conceal carry something like the Hellcat or Glock 48.

My EDC is a Shield Plus with a Holosin 407 and a TLR6 HL (300 lumen) light. I have had the Shield in 40 and a Glock 27 and 23. The Shield Plus usually gets the nod. The Glock 23 with a TLR 1 gets carried in the winter (in Florida)..

Have a Hellcat and don’t find it to be too snappy. Not the best shot, but I get decent groups at 10 yards while only getting the occasional flyer. For me it’s less the size of the thing that makes it hard to shoot and more so the weight. Shield Plus is about the same size but has what, like 2 ounces more? Thing shoots like a fucking dream. Shot the 48 not too long ago at my local range, again shoots like a dream and I bought it the next week. To me it’s the ideal weight and size for concealed carry. The Hellcat has now been regulated to my work carry due to it being so damn light while the 48 has become my EDC. All I pray for is that Glock just better better sights on their damn guns

As a bonus, when I shoot or carry my 4” 2.0 Shield in 45 or 40, it is an easy transition from the 4” Shield Plus. All are great pistols.

PSA: I’ve got the carry comp. I love it, but it doesn’t feed what has been my primary carry ammo (hst 124 +p). I get nosedive ftf’s with that round. Feeds ball just fine so plan on running stuff with either a polymer insert or a smaller hollow. I’ve got 9BPLE in it now. It seems to run it just fine however +p+ is supposed to be avoided per the manual. I’ve also gotten malfunctions when shooting one handed. I imagine that is because it’s got an extremely strong recoil spring and needs you to be solidly behind the gun

so what do you think of the HC Pro - I have a 43x and a HC pro and find the HC pro more snappy then the 43 x - I have a lot better groupings with the 43 x

@@JLe-g5f yeah, I feel ya, I want so much to like the HCP due to the mags plus have 5 of them, but the 43x shoots flatter, tighter groups on paper, more fast hits on steel, not sure why the HCP shoots so differrent... will see again this weekend if it goes on the for sale page.
