It's so good Elie - I love the scent so much but I do hate pruning around those thorns! 🤣

I have my mock orange planted near my driveway. It's scent perfumes the air. I remember one planted near our back door when I was a child. I've never grown nemesia before. It's just an annual for me in my zone 5b. I don't think I've seen blue penstemon before. It wouldn't be hardy for me. I do grow Husker's Red.

Hi Bonny, Husker's red is lovely. It's so meaningful when scent brings back childhood memories 💚

Hi Annette, I'm kicking myself as I almost bought Harlow Carr yesterday but went for Sceptered Isle instead. Think I'm going to go back to the garden centre! I know that you've got three plants there but they're stunning. I've got some Nemesias in pots and they're such an easy plant aren't they? I particularly like the ones Rhubarb and Custard for their gorgeous colours and have also had them go through the winter apart from the last one but as you said, it was a harsh one. I actually had a little clump of seedlings earlier on that I didn't recognise so potted them up and they've turned out to be Nemesia which was a nice surprise. I've not heard of your last plant but those little bells are so cute and definitely look like the ones on Lily of the Valley which is my home town's flower. (Helston in Cornwall.) Have a great weekend.

Thanks Wendy. Yes, I couldn't be without Harlow Carr now that I've experienced it. Rhubarb and custard is such a lovely colour combination - I have 1 tiny plant that grew back from last year! 🌸

lucky that you kept your penstemon. I lost 'garnet'which I've had for years. My mum lost all hers except garnet. Really disappointed. I have lost so many from my garden and garnet is the\ only one I've managed to keep for\ years. So upsetting. I did decide not to grow penstemons any more, but the succumbed to a packet of seeds- less expensive to lose those! I now have a bout 30 plants to put in the garden :-) Thank you for a great vlog and tour. I now have the nemesia on my wish list. Can it be grown from seed? Thank you :-) xx

It's devastating when we lose plants we love. We lost really odd things this year and I can't fathom why except for that horrible cold snap. I've never found the nemesia Wisley vanilla seeds. let me know if you do - I'd love some!

@@cottoverdi Hi Annette. I will most certainly let you know if I am able to find any seed. I wonder if the ordinary scented white Nemesia seed would be as lovely as your plants? I will try some next year. The flowers are pretty anyway, so nothing to lose and maybe lots to gain :-) x
