What a treat. I am particularly impressed by the garden at 18:40. I love the stillness of oriental gardens but this had pops of colour. I am also becoming a lover of moss! Moss on stone and creative ways of filling space and also the use of white in a garden. Thanks Annette.

Love all the bearded irissis specialy the Rajah, the purple poppy's are stunning and the sweet columbine in all colors. And so many colors of Geum, I sew today that my cosmos atrosangunius was 2e place at the RHS. I love this plant so much, it smells like cocolade, and with the flowers I dye my own wool. Thanks, yes, the colours were so vibrant in some of the gardens, in contrast to other gardens where the tones were so much more subdued. Both beautiful. And 'hi' to you in the Netherlands! 👋🏼🌸🌸

Greeting's from Ireland, Great video and thank you for showing us some of the garden's which were beautiful. We have a flower garden show called bloom in Dublin on the June bank holiday every year which is the biggest flower show in Ireland.

23.58 The roses look impeccable.
We will have 32C today and on Wednesday it will reach 34C. I walk to the sea though and swim. I think my pansies will die.

You are very eloquent in your videos and I really admire you for that. Not many people have this talent.
One little secret, I used to correspond with Prince Philip. In his first letter he wrote "Dear Mrs Mougiou" by hand.
The rest of his letters were written by his equerries. I used to live in Corfu and the year 2007 he visited Mon Repos , the ex palace which was his birthplace. I was working there as an antiquity guard, it is a museum now. Unfortunately I missed him as my supervisor changed my shift and I went to work 3 hours after Prince Philip had been to the palace.

I subscribed because you named some bushes and plants used. i so wanted to know the names of the plants. even rhs one has to search for awhile to find plant lists.

Hi Anne, glad you enjoyed the video. That looks like Briza Maxima to me but the plant lists can be found online for most of the gardens. and 'hi' to you in Munch! We went to the Christmas Market there many years ago and had the BEST time! 😊
For me the Best in Show was Octavia Hills Garden and Gold for ST James;s others I found to be bland and uninspiring More a case of walking pass rather than walking thro. Where was the joy and excitement of old . Need Your Help😀
I loved the NGS garden - right up my street, although I don't grow any azaleas (yet!). I also loved Wateraid for the plantings along the water and the Octavia Hills garden for all those colours!
You have a space with so much potential Anette!! I like you a lot but I think you should give more prominence and space to wildlife! Not so many Dahlias or.....obelisks...... Do you know Knepp? And It would be divine a wildlife pond !!!!!!
Thanks. That means a lot to me. Just to reassure you that our garden is dedicated to wildlife. We have creatures in abundance and plan to re-home some hedgehogs in the near future. We have also been planning a stream for many years but these things take time when it's just Richard and I doing all the work. 😊
