@MishacoOBA Thanks so much for making this video. I had a Zastava M70, but in 2022 I had to sell it for need of money. I recently have had the itch to get me an AK74 or 105. Basically just tired of AR's and everyone having 5.56 including myself. I have been sourcing ammo here and there when I can. Just got 4 boxes of the Hornady Black Vmax from Academy for under $20 a box. Anyways sorry to ramble on I am gonna make me an Old-Fashioned or two and watch this video. Thumbs up bro!

Me too, these would be among the final AKs I would sell if i did ahve to get rid of my firearms, esp the SLR105A1 and SGL31.
You could have a whole series on the AKs you own and all the knowledge you have with AKs

Plain, original ak74 is my favorite rifle.
And its one that actually took me a long time to get. Before i would get close but tehre was always something about it not quite there: scope rail, wrong threads, US barrel, etc.

The AK is the only gun that can have mix-&-match furniture and be even more awesome.
That was another good thing about kalasnikov usa. They were salin the parts for people who wanted to finally convert there sporterized saigas because there parts are Russian spec and would fit right on the saigas. I had a friend bought the front sight block andgas tube and lowerhandguard retainer and rear trunnion and front latch for the stock to lock and folding stock and bullet guide from k-usa and sent it off had the trigger guard and trigger moved forward and pistol grib added and when he got it back it was a nice 103
yep, i used a couple of their parts myself. No problems adapting to work with originals.
Which is why when I saw my FFL was selling his personal SGL 31-61. I snapped that thing up so fast. It was not cheap though. I knew it wouldn’t be either.
You know, AK furniture is almost worth a dedicated feature. WBP has some nifty options, and Zastava is doing good. East German MPi-KM stocks are around. What's a good source on AK-74 stocks and furniture?
Akfiles or comblocmarket. Good luck trying to find those from a US based business.
@@stoegerstewie8351 Unfortunately, I can't be of much help. I put together my AK collection between 2000 and 2015 for the most part. I've only had a couple new additions since 2020. Most of the guys i myself bought from are gone now or at least out of stock on anything truely good.
@@misha5670 the last note I should have added was about AKM furniture. Century Arms, particularly their ROMARMs stuff is a bit crude. WBP has that Polish Classic and a few other options. Boyd's should be alright, but I'm not sure of the fitment quality. I'd want to get it close to how an AK should look, either way.
