- Making swing changes can be difficult and daunting! Before making any changes you need to make sure 1/ the changes are solving ball control or contact issues & 2/ you understand and can demonstrate the new motion ✔️

I have had a snap hook problem for 5 years, the only thing to calm it down or get rid of it was trying to change my grip and im still trying to get used to it
You can weaken the left hand until it's nearly impossible to hook a driver. That's the way I defeated the hook.
Love it ✅✅✅
Changing the grip is one of the hardest things to do in golf lol
@@marvinfrench2263 This one not so much. I've used a strong grip for the driver only and a normal grip for everything else for years. I use the normal grip for a driver and I close the club face and hook it. I don't have to think about holding the club face open and trying to manipulate other things to keep it open enough by weakening the left hand. 1 hand position adjustment for 1 swing isn't very hard.
Right but the other side of this is the blocks though so doesn’t it make more sense to just fix the swing plane and be closer to 2 to 3 degrees in to out as opposed to almost double digits?
@@natealger4205 definitely what I see more w elite players…not much of a face issue, more path / swig direction needing more of a shift.
