  • Hello! Welcome to the healing community! I'm so glad you're here. This video discusses supplements you can take if you're recovering from an autoimmune disease, IBD, or other inflammatory diseases. I was very deficient at the beginning of my Crohn's diagnosis. However, I have improved my vitamin levels and immune system with these tips and tricks.
    As always, consult your doctor before taking any supplements, vitamins, or foods to improve your health.

    Lol Trunchbull Talk 😂 love it! I love turmeric! Even as someone w/o an auto-immune disorder, it is very beneficial! One question tho, I’ve read that in order for the body to absorb turmeric, it needs to contain Piperin (black pepper)? I also take Solaray Liver Blend SP-13 just to support the filtering organs. And I take Krill Oil for healthy fats and there are some studies that show it helps reduce inflammation. Obviously you’ll do your own research, but these have really helped me. The biggest thing I notice is less inflammation in my joints since I’m constantly on my hands and knees at work. Definitely going to check out Cacao and the magnesium supplement!

      Dude okay so I haven't heard that about the turmeric, but that makes sense bc the kind that I have has black pepper in it...so I bet it does help with absorption. I also have read that resveratrol helps with the absorption of turmeric...this is found in red wine (I think Pinot Noir has the highest content) or can be taken as a supplement. Whole foods has delicious and affordable organic Pinot Noir!!
      Omg thank you for mentioning your supplements!! I have been having abnormal results for my liver on my blood tests so I will have to try the Solaray to see if that helps!! Thanks Megan :}

      Great to know about the Pinot Noir!! I love supplements! But I really want to see an actual nutritionist because I did read somewhere that taking too many can be hard on your kidneys. I feel like I have so much to learn still.
