Cracking session on the Georges using the Cranka Crab lures from the Hobie Lynx. landed a couple of school Jew fish and Bream up to 35cm. / @mickettingshausen
Yes I have 3 set ups. 6lb on 6lb, 10lb on 10lb and 10lb fluorocarbon all the way. The water has been so clear at the moment and the straight through fluorocarbon has been better. This video is 10 braid with 10lb fluorocarbon leader 👍🏼
The Cranka is designed to sit the right way up when descending in the water, and on a twitch style retrieve. If there is a lot of current sometimes the cranka may flip over but this does not happen very often. 👍🏼
Veeeery nice condition
Nice video Mick (subbed and liked)what rod ya using there ???
Thanks for the follow Warren. I’m using an old Ian Miller light spin stick 2-5kg. And on the Bream it’s a Shimano Squidgy 2-4kg stick.
@@mickettingshausen thanks for the quick reply Mick - cheers !
hey mate great video what net is that ?? i like how deep it is.
I got this net from Fergo’s Tackleworld at Taren Point. The long handle is great for kayaking and still portable as the handle slides into the net. 👍🏼
Mono with braid backing?

Sick catches brother, is this in vic or nsw
This is in NSW. Captain Cook Bridge is in Botany Bay. Pylons on the bridge can hold great fish 👍🏼
@@mickettingshausen cheers mate, if I head up to nsw I’ll try it out. Too bad it’s not in vic.
Stonker bream mate !
There have been a few nice fish around, but not in big numbers.
