    Thank you Ryan for the beautiful walk around your garden, it might be June but here in the UK it looks like it is going to be another wet year, three in a row and with temperatures around 18 degrees Celsius the plants hate it. But we have your garden to cheer us up

    Cheers from Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 zone 5b Saw your propagating hydrangeas video & I’m in awe with all of yours!!! I have my very first 2 Hydrangeas (Fire Light Tidbit & Tuff Stuff Ah-Ha -mine is blue on its own. I’m in love with hydrangeas. Our weather is nothing like yours, we’ve seen a lot of rain but our temps should be higher now. Glad to be your newest subscriber(even tho we’re in different zones, garden lovers appreciate other gardeners. Interesting to see what flowers work in your zone

    I love your videos and I wish I had more space on my standard size house lot and I would have a greenhouse and a huge flower garden too. Your yard and plant variety are amazing and something I am dreaming of having some day. I am working on it, and currently have about 20 roses scattered around the front and back yard. Many of them were planted by the previous homeowner and we are estimating that some of them are 35 to 40 years old by now. I also have a grapefruit tree, a persimmon, two tangerine, a guava and an orange tree that are all somewhere between 25 and 40 years old and producing fruit like crazy. I have added an apple tree, one more tangerine, 2 grapes, a lemon and a lime tree, all of which are producing. My gooseberry bushes were the biggest surprise because they are usually ok up to climate zone 8 and I am in 10a in Southern California. Two jostaberry bushes are just getting started, we will see how they do in this hot climate. And at the moment I am reducing my back yard grass size and digging up the dirt for a vegetable garden because my tomato and cucumber planters turned out to be much too small.

    Who wouldn’t want to sit outside with a cold drink and just relax in all that? Hey Ryan, I got a question for you. I live in the North East, what’s the best way to cover a maples shallow roots in my yard?

    • @grassrootsgardening
      @grassrootsgardening  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lightly mulch. If you cover you could kill the tree

    I have a question about roses if you have time to answer it if not, that’s fine. We have a rose out front of our house that it leaves all turned rusty color. Is that a bug infestation or a virus of some kind I’m thinking of just cutting it off at the roots And see what happens if it comes back or not it’s always been a good plant and it’s been there for years

    In what area do you live? Mine are just now budding.

    Why don’t you put a game camera in your greenhouse to catch night blooming flowers?

      You can set some of them to record continuously. Just need a big SD card
