    The only problem with this band is that Syu is so good I just want to hear him solo for 15 minutes.

      Yeah. Syu, Hizaki and Teru are guitarist you just could listen to as only instrumental.

      This is only half the song. Thr full song is like 15 mins. Also Syu has 2 solo albums out and plays on the singer's solo album

      Now I need to hear them live. They are an outstanding band, and they have a lot of crossover appeal. Cheers.

    Great reaction as usual! One of my favorite songs by them, probably partly due how it bases on the Violin Concerto in D Major op.35 by Tchaikovsky. Like many others here in comment section I presume, I too highly recommend you to check out the full version since this one is missing couple cool bridges and solo parts. The live version is pretty good as well.

    hello baldman, I'm also a bold audience of your channel. I am so fond of your voice, it's super cool and your sense of reacting videos is so fantastic and meaningful. Thanks to your reaction, I've found lots of great artists. Please keep making videos.

    Galneryus is a great band! This was actually the first song I had heard from them too. "Emotions" is one of my favorite pieces of theirs.
    Another good Japanese Power Metal band is Gauntlet, and their song "Beyond the Wall" is excellent.

    • @Baldmann
      @Baldmann  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are really good. Ive got Destiny on tap for tomorrow. It's great to hear how tasteful the band is with just how good the players are, and they are alot of fun. I'll get Gauntlet on the list. Cheers.

    • @-l_gavin_l-
      @-l_gavin_l- 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Destiny is a good song of theirs too! I agree, very tasteful sound and excellent musicianship.
      Awesome, enjoy the shred!

    • @abajolasfresas
      @abajolasfresas 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not want to disappoint you, but Gauntlet in the song * Beyond the Wall * was shamelessly inspired by the riffs of * Revenant Choir * of Versailles, it also sounds like Galneryus, his inspiration in both bands is too obvious. And that's not bad ... but anyone who knows the three bands realizes where everything comes from. Actually you can check the comments on the video, I'm not the only one that realize -> th-cam.com/video/R-siEIQGdC4/w-d-xo.html
      Even so, the song is good, but I thought you had to know that.

    • @-l_gavin_l-
      @-l_gavin_l- 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You spoiled the surprise!
      Yes, the opening riff is extremely similar to The Revenant Choir opening, but besides that it sounds pretty original to me. The singing is different than both bands I think and the guitarists playing style is different too. Their influences are very clear, but if you listen to their other music it's less obvious. Personally, I think combining the style of both bands sounds good.

    Your reaction and comments were exactly how I felt. It led me down Japan's "League of Legends" rabbit hole. Their guitar players are phenomenal and it's hard to climb out. By now you probably have, but if not, X JAPAN'S "ART OF LIFE" is a game changer.

    • @Baldmann
      @Baldmann  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did Art Of Life live. I enjoyed parts of it, but I found it to be bloated, and self indulgent at points. 30+ minutes was a bit long.

    You should try to listen to the full version of this song when you have the time, there's a lot missing from the music video including another highly dynamic solo

    I think the guitarist Syu sometimes goes to the NAMM show to show off ESP guitars and accessories, since that's what he plays exclusively.

    I don’t usually like Japanese Metal, but this meshed well with me. The underlying rhythm was great, amazing guitar work, and the vocals remind me of Dream Theater a bit. Again, awesome reaction

    If your into happy power metal, please go check out Twilight Force, preferably the song Flight of the Sapphire Dragon. It's just amazing, happy fantasy cheese done well, i'm sure you'd love it. Big fan of Galneryus, so this was a fun watch, I enjoy the classical influence in some of their work. the whole band is talented but man the guitarist is amazing.

    You makes me cry; for me it's like a reaction of Motörhead's Ace of Spades or Iron Maiden's Number of The Beast, when I listen to Galneryus at first notes I just need to hear the full Album then I goes to Versailles Philharmonic Quintet and at that time Galneryus isn't that great for me but when I come back to Galneryus where like yeah Versailles is good but Galneryus is much better XD.
