Loved your reaction, would really like to see more Tk and ling tosite sigure reactions 😇. Here is the translation for "copy light" , I'm not the one that translated it but I trust this source so the translation should be pretty accurate. Don't try to teach me how to love others through songs alone We won't be connected through ordinary words and replies Don't try to figure out how to heal your wounds through damn songs The tears you shed aren't anywhere near you I'm scared, oh, so scared... it's as if that was my own answer I'm scared, oh, so scared... without even being able to love anyone yet Don't try to teach me how to love others through songs alone Do you want us to connect through such ordinary words and replies? Even if wounds that can't heal try to kill me That blood alone is enough to depict my heart Don't give it to such a fragile invisible man Let me go, just let me go... it's as if that was my own answer Let me go, just let me go... without even being able to love anyone yet Listening carefully to others' voices and stacking up their hearts Surely, it is so; surely, it is as you say, right? If everyone's like that, then you're like that too, right? Even with someone else's voice, my words wouldn't resonate; even with someone else's heart, I wouldn't be enough for you So cry out with that very voice and weep with those same eyes, even though it hurts so much to keep on living Don't let your heart be deceived by some borrowed feelings We can't be connected through such ordinary words and replies.
TK is amazing! Seeing him cry at the end shows that he was not just singing or playing an instrument... he was feeling it deeply. Some say that this song represents some of his own experiences. Great video!
I really need to do more. They are an amazing band. It simply comes down to time, and not wanting to flood the channel will alot of content from a single band.
My goodness, this damn near brought me to tears. I'm familiar with TK's work. He's done opening songs for several animes and I originally found him from the anime 91 Days. The theme for that anime is Signal (another song of his that's absolutely worth hearing, it's on TH-cam) and it's fantastic. He's gained more notoriety from doing Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul (that song is gorgeous), but regardless of how he got popular, he absolutely deserves it. Lyrics aren't needed as I think his music is an aural experience. Full of so much feeling that it practically bursts out. I love how much of himself that he throws into his music. My favorite part of this song was how much desperation was in that guitar solo, and then how he brought the intensity back down to close the track. Just amazing.
Please check his other first take of his song unravel or if you want the full band experience they recently did a home recording version of the same song
Great review, I didn't expect to see TK or LTS on here again, but I'm glad you're looking back into them! Along with Dir En Grey, I think LTS are one of the best acts from Japan, so I'd be really curious to hear your thoughts on some of their albums, especially #4 or Inspiration is Dead and some of TK's other live performances. Also, I'm not entirely sure, but I've always thought Sokoninaru might be influenced by LTS, based on their style.
From "The first take" can you react band Queen Bee and their song "Kaen"? This song is in opening in anime "Dororo", but this version from "The first take" is phenomenal. Avu-chan, their vocalist, has very beautiful voice and amazing range and vocal control. You must react it. About amazing japanese singers, please react also Kokia and her song "Il Mare Dei Suoni" live version from 2012. She is another vocalist with very beautiful voice and amazing range and vocal control. Please reatc her, she is my favourite japanese female singer, but almost no-one want to react her...
He definitely uses a lot of Boss pedals but his signature tones come from a Arion SPH-1 Stereo Phaser and a custom Barbarossa Gargoyle. As well as his latest addition which is used in this song. A Eventide H9 Harmonizer Multi-Effects Pedal. Also Sokoninaru are heavily inspired by ling tosite sigure so that's why they sound similar.
It's one of the better sigs I've seen. It doesn't look like a typical signature model which I find important. When I get a guitar, or bass, I want it to feel like it's mine. TK's would fit that if I wanted a more traditional tele.
@@Baldmann Yea I know right the looks of the guitar is really why I bought my first guitar which is white/creamy, although sadly it doesn't come close to his but thats okay I'am happy with it. anyway thanks for the video I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that.
My 7 string is a Schecter KM7 MK3 Artist from World Music in South Korea. It's a signature guitar that doesn't have all the branding of a typical signature model. It feels like it was made for me, and has so many features I would want on a custom guitar.
Copying and modifying my comment in another reaction vid: Just to share my knowledge with his pedalboard: Firstly, he uses multiple Boss LS-2. His Preamp or first stage overdrive is the Vemuram Jan Ray Overdrive, a pricey pedal and is said to be a Timmy clone. At the distorted part of the song, or the 2nd half, he uses the PitchFuzz from Eventide H9. When he slided his guitar at 4:20 you can hear his distortion became thicker and smoother, thats because he turned on his overdrive, which will be remained turned on until the end of the song. The H9 is connected to a Line Selector and they call it "H9 loop". The green one is called Barbarossa Uranus, a tube screamer. This is boosted by the Boss DA-2. They are connected to a Line Selector snd they call it the "TS Loop". He mainly uses this in his songs as his main drive. The black pedal beside the Boss DA-2 is his main distortion, called Barbarossa Gargoyle, a pricey japanese boutique pedal, it is connected to a Line Selector they call "Gargoyle loop". He mainly uses this pedal to boost his solos. At the solo, he uses a modded phaser pedal called Arion SPH-1, and in the clean section of the song he has his Digitech DigiDelay turned on. The Digitech is at the modulation setting so you can hear a chorus-like sound in the clean part. Note: He mainly uses 3 Boss LS-2, but he added another one. The Phaser is also connected to another Line Selector. The reason is because maybe the pedal switch is spoilt, it is just made of plastic so it can be the reason. Thats all!!
Saw your reaction video to burgerkill - integral. This band relased new version of an elegy from venomous EP from 2012. This song is dedicated to their latest vocalist who died. RIP ivan scumbag, untill we meet again. Metal with orchestra, should be interesting to watch and id like to see your reaction to it. Burgerkill (killchestra) an elegy. Thanks.

Anyone notice the tear? I cry every time I listen to this song. It's amazing how much raw emotion, TK is able to infuse into this song, I love him.
Nice to see you reacting to TK. He's really amazing. I'm sure you would enjoy the rest of LTS's music.

What I love most about TK is how much power and emotion he gets across in his music. Doesn't even matter I can't understand the words.

As soon as I saw your channel name I knew I would like your channel.
It's an apt description.
As always I’m happy to see someone who takes vocals as an instrument. Vet or not is irrelevant. Love your content.

his neck pick-up is not a typical tele pick-up its more like a strat pickup:
schecter.co.jp/artists/620/?products=ac-tk-te-wh/sig#detail
It's still similar, and has come of those characteristics. I'm actually surprised he keeps one of the stock Schecter pick ups in it.
@@Baldmann Yea it is his signature after all, but I really love the sound of it, its a shame that I can't get one where I live.
