Welcome to the world of Galneryus, yes they are that good live, It’s the guitarists Syu’s band, They are the greatest power metal band ever, also most people haven’t heard of them, but once you see them play you will never forget it.
This song is an arrangement of Tchaikovsky's violin concerto in D. The solo is almost note-for-note the first part of the violin solo from the 3d movement, but the actual album version of this song is almost twice as long and SYU does more more solos within this song. He is classically trained a bit--started out on violin. On the whole, I'd say Galneryus is more brighter power/prog. but they do have some darker heavier stuff. Check out "Whatever It Takes" for some Dream Theater-esque insanity.

The vocalist "Fuki" of "Unlucky Morpheus" was originally the vocalist of a band called "Light Bringer", and the keyboardist "Mao" of "Light Bringer" is the shadow member of "Love Bites". . Fumiya was in both Galneryus and Unlucky Morpheus at the same time. Fumiya started play for Unlucky Morpheus back in 2011, but they were a side project until 2016, when they became a full time band. So while he was with Unlucky Morpheus when they played live and did work on some of the studio recordings, he was not a full member, until 2016 . And 2016 is when he joined Galneryus, and left in 2020, during that time he was alway in Unlucky Morpheus, he was also in Undead Corporation for part of that as well. The bass is a Kubicki Ex Factor, it is indeed tuned at the bridge (the strings pass through the headstock and feed into the bridge). The headstock has a clasp that you can quickly disengage and drop the low string a whole step, the headstock even has extra frets for the low string.
Awesome song and band to react to. Theyve been around for quite a long time and super talented band. Really cool you checked out this MV. This church they filmed at was also used by my 2 personal favorite bands from Japan, Aldious and Lovebites. The songs "Dominator" by Aldious MV and "Glory To The World" by Lovebites MV were also filmed at this church. Theres probably some others I'm forgetting to mention that were filmed there as well I'm with you on this one though. Its alittle to happy for my usual daily listening taste. But gotta give credit were credit it due 🤘

Fumiya drummer of Unlucky Morpheus joined Galneryus for a few years while they were looking for another one and Fuki singer of UM did vocals on 2 songs on Syu's solo project (song Reason is 1 of the best showcase of vocals and guitar solo I have ever heard in my life) If you listen to Angel of Salvation live, the 2014 version has an orchestra on stage with them while the 2020 one has a backing track but Fumiya is the drummer.

Guitarist Syu is using his ESP signature, and it’s slightly different looking than a explorer, for me it’s just weirdly satisfying to look at perhaps owning one if I get a chance(but esps are always overpriced in my opinion,maybe because I’m not a rich guy lol)

There are a lot of similarities between metal and classical music, like the way they are structured for one. And you'll find that a lot of the top metal song writers are also fans of classical music. There are so many great guitarists in Japan and Syu is one of the best. There is another one that's up there, but his guitar style is so different, I watch him play and it's WTF that's just crazy, that guy is MIYAVI, and is known as the Samuri guitarist. The band is active. They just dropped their latest album 1 of March and are going on tour in Japan. Maybe their last.. who knows...
