would love to see a nice sea trial and fishing trip , showing max speed , and cruise as well

Working on it! Might be a few months getting a better drone with more batteries and fixing all the gauges so I can accurately display data for the sea trial!

What are the hours on those 71’s? That air filter will be in the turbo soon! Lol. You might like to check the history of those 6/71 engines, they go back pre ww2, powered tanks, landing craft, gen sets, buses, trucks you name it they were in it. You have the highest hp spec produced. Marine don’t have the life expectancies their on road and industrial brothers have but are damn reliable. Cheers, and be safe.

500 hours on the engines, the air filters got messed up when painting the transmissions hence why they collapse.(paper around them and I accidentally cranked the engines so it produced a false clog). Already replaced them! And yes I wish the marine engines had the same life expectancy as the road counterparts! I baby these so o can extend the life on them since they are the highest hp ones they require much more maintenance than the naturals.

@@SaltyBoysFishing excellent! And forget the T! A 6/71T is 250?hp. As compared to your marines, the rpm are higher the injectors are huge , cams , blah blah.
      Love dd 2 strokes!
Lots of life in them yet.

It’s all cleaned up now! Definitely agree and wouldn’t want to get underway or let them run with a messy engine room

That wasn't the throttle btw. That's your engine kill solenoid.

Must have pointed at the wrong part on camera nice catch! The throttle is right next to it as I’ve manually revved it from down there.

@richardounjian9270 looking at 500ish smoh but thats what the previous owner had told me didn’t have paper work… but I can say that they have great compression, fire right up and barely smoke if at all so I am leaning towards believing him on the hours
