- Its finally time for GT500 got a pullied and tuned! I dropped the car off to Southern stables garage in Shrewsbury pa for the work. They installed a JLT 123mm cai, VMP 2.5 pulley, steeda tensioner and custom tuned it. All I can say is WOW! I didn't expect the rwhp to be.....

What did you have in the tune parts a labor
They can make power easy.I know.I have said it before 2 SS and my 08gt500.With just a few mods and you can make well over 600wheel

I just changed to a 2.5 pulley ,cold air JBT,tune and Dyno results Torque 576.14 Max power 546.73 convertible,real fun, especially with the young guys,

Nice Manpreet video. I just did the 2.6 pulley with the 123 intake on mine and mine lay down 530. It's so cool seeing you do the work to your car cuz mine is the exact same thing... Keep it up with the videos

Its a 2009.. the next thing I want to do to it as a long tube headers just like you did. I already ordered the BMR lower control arms to make the power stick

You should try 4.10 gears and sticky tires with that power! Mine put down 550 through 410s with a twin 65 tbody. Its fast...any gear any rpm it just moves quickly when you mat it. Love the low end torque. Mine has the same mods, catless h, jlt 123..
2.6 pulley not 2.5 but i also got borla stingers and 4.10s. Shes quick lol. These things are so much better once theyre modded even just a little bit. People misjudge them because stock they "only" got 500 hp and bolt on 5.0s can keep up with them nicely...when stock...once they have minor mods like this and like mine they become monsters ecspecially for a car that came out in 2007 lol. I knew you would love this remembering your reaction to stock power lol.
Oh I agree it definitely needs gears. I'm thinking about 3.73's. One I get a McCloud clutch in then I'll put some sticky tires on and it will for sure RIP!

Theres a gt500 2007 same color as yours being sold for 29k about an hour and a half away from me from a used car dealership with only 60k miles any thoughts?
I'd buy it! Them chamge the lower pulley because the 07's have balance issues with the lower cast pulley

I have a 87mustang gt with T TOPS.I love it and I will never sell it.I also have a 92lx 5.0 and my best fox OTHER than my other car's.I have a vibrant red 93cobra with 20 thousand original miles.The car is almost perfect original shape.I just have exhaust and that's it.I know there not the fastest but they are beautiful car's.If I WANNA go fast I can get into one of my super snakes or my 08 gt500.Life is good lol

@@automotiveantics I have 410 in my 08 gt500 and my car is violent.850rwhp makes all the difference.You have so much more potential with the car.
I’m in northern md not that far from garage how much did this set you back I’ve been looking to get done on my 2008 gt500
I had bought the intake before hand and gave it to them. They did all the install including new plugs and tuning. That being said I don't remember exactly but it was around $1,200-$1,300 I think. Well worth it!
You are prob around 13-14 psi without headers but the stock gauge is not accurate once youre modified im surprised yours reads that close mine with a 2.6 pulley on stock blower would peg the gauge past 15 psi and it prob wasnt seeing but 13 max lol. I have a gen3r now pushing 19 psi it still pegs haha. I need an aftermarket boost gauge and afr gauge. I had it dyno tuned so they had those readings to tune it but i need some in the car so i can keep an eye on stuff plus it looks cool lol. Mine put down 740/733 still running 410 gear its a handful on the street i like it that way lol. One word: violent lol

Did you have any issues with heat soak? Are u still running the stock heat exchanger?
Still the stock heat exchanger and no problems with heat soak that I've noticed. I try not to run it to hard on hot days anyway so..
Good power on a dynojet dyno get the car on a mustang dyno for a true number I’m at 550 to the rear on a mustang dyno with long tunes and high flow cats 15 lbs and tune and pulley cai

@@automotiveantics it's a lot of work to install but the 5.4 wakes up with long tubes also I have a vmp polished throttle body

@@automotiveantics they have to drop the cross member you could put 373 gears in it doing a lot of shifting though
