I’m not an Acho hater but the balance undeniable. Joy is a good moderator but so so panelist, so helps her skill utilization when is moderator. Dave brings a journalist skill, stats and can talk positional scheme and draft/trade analysis. Shady and James different personalities but former players to bring personal experience. 🔥

I feel like everyone says they don't care about being the face of the league until they are. It's like when people say X player can't be the best player on a championship team up until they do it. I'm sure Lebron didn't want to be the face of the league at 22 either, but then he was and I don't think he's necessarily shyed away from it since.
I'll just say that this didn't age well considering the NBA champs just got blown out. I'm sold on Ant-man at this point. If he stays healthy; he's only going to get better.

I agree with Joy. She is spot on. The face of the league is about the player on and OFF the court. MJ was admired and love in spaces that had nothing to do with basketball. Ant has all of those things, he has that IT factor. He just needs to lead a team to a win. He has time to do that because as far as I see no one has ALL of those things in the league currently. Great player and face of the league are 2 different things btw.

Stylistically, like it or not, basketball and especially the NBA has become modeled after Black American men. So it is not jist about how good of a basketball player you are. It is the accumulation of the imagery of great prior and current players that dictates popularity.
