    can also use rubber grease on the piston and the seals to help it slide in like a glove

      Why would I go giving an update on someone that has their own channel 😂 the amount of you guys that want to see content of his need to go tell him that directly. How can you expect him to know you guys want to see more stuff from him when you don’t message him

      Possibly because you reviewed his car before in a video and you’re seeking other cars for build break down videos as we have seen in previous clips. It’s content. But would be fire content being an Fd and not everyday nissan stuff .🔥

    Doesn't look like the outer seals are in properly? You've got them covering the ends of the pistons which will be pressing up against the brake pads. Outer ring of the seal should be in the lip of the piston, could be wrong but doesnt look right

      Nah mate they are how they should be, if the weren’t they wouldn’t be sticking there they’d would be poping off. They are the the hardest part about rebuilding the caliper and you’d very quickly know if they weren’t on properly

      @@stack3dit Yeah man I hear ya, I've rebuilt plenty at work, but your seals are literally covering the ends of the pistons...ive never seen a set of brakes where thats a thing. Like your seals are between the pistons and the back of the brake pad, as soon as you press the brake surely its just going to tear the seal?

      Have a look at 6:35 and compare it to a pic online bro, outer bit of the seal should be sitting in the grove of the piston

      Ohhh yeah I get ya now. I thought that was how they were supposed to be but now that you mention it I think I may have them wrong. I have more calipers that are untouched so I’ll have a look at them tomorrow and see what they’re like

    • @stack3dit
      @stack3dit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can confirm you were right, I hadn’t tucked the inner part behind the lip of the piston like they’re supposed to be. Cheers for pointing that out cuz yeah they definitely would have ripped the moment the brakes were applied 😂

    nah bol
    r32 gtr calipers still use the banjo bolt

    • @stack3dit
      @stack3dit  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a difference in fittings not a difference in the caliper. The little thing inside the claiper is easily removed if needed. I’m talking about the calipers themselves size and design wise
