You’re 100% right in that it’s loosing power over the sinco with that. Would be around 20-40hp but the rest of the loss is definitely down to the low compression is a couple cylinders
@@stack3dit Was the sinco undivided as well? Agree at that sort of power the sinco would make a difference. WMI is awesome but any issue with it fries the motor quick, wheels look good!
It was and still is. We decided to throw it back in so the laurel was usable till the 14 is at a point where it needs the engine. The 14 is a long way away from needing a motor. Once the cage and other fabrication work is done and painted it’ll get the motor. Since we’ve found out it needs a rebuild it’ll come out sooner rather than later for a refresh then it’ll be going into the 14!

You may want to do a cylinder leak down test? That should tell you if it's valve stem seals, seats, rings or HG
