Here's my battery pack solution for Atomos Ninja V:
    1. Anker PowerCore Essential 20000 PD (i.e. Amazon UK) ~46.00 Euro.
    2. USB-C to USB-C PD Cable - any good quality will do. Get a short one.
    3. PD Spoof Adapter Plug Converter USB Type C Female to 5.5* 2.5mm (AliExpress. Item code: 5525 ) - under $5.00.
It's angled too which makes it easier for me to manage the cable behind the monitor.
    4. Reuse the power supply connection battery adapter that came with the Ninja V monitor to link all together.
Total: under 60.00Euro with 20k juice.
On Atomos Ninja it will show up as a 9V power (bank) delivery. Some of the NPF batteries deliver 7.4Volts. Remember the input Voltage allowed is 6.2V - 16.8V. As you can see you will be far from exceeding or under-volting the Atomos Ninja V with this neat setup.
    It works for me.
    Thank me later.

I think you might have the same power bank as mine. You might be overdrawing too much of that power bank, or not! I would double check max. power consumption--that is noted as W. A x V=W (amps x voltage = watts). Max W out of those USB ports is 15W on mine. The Ninja needs about 30W. That is double the amount of power needed. Double check and make sure that is not the case. Cheers!

Great idea, but if you check the specifications of the RavPower Portable Charger 20000mAh 60W PD 3.0 USB C Power Bank, no where does it list the 'Voltage' it lists input voltage and output - in case of Ninja V 12V_3A But a lot of these power banks are 3.7V batteries stacked inside, so they are by and by a marketing ploy... aside from that issue I am curious to whether you or anyone else knows the run time of using said battery with cable on the Ninja V 100% brightness recording non stop 400Mbps 422 10bit?

I want to power up canon r5 (15W) and ninja V+ (22W) with 2 power banks that can handle 37 W each, for long recordings!!! I want to create a Y cable for 2 powerbanks (in the same time) and one end that deliver power to the rig (here with another split, one for dummy and one for ninja). If any power Bank have at least 37W I can record without stop, just replace from time to time the power banks.

Hi Chris, I just got my Atomos Ninja V (I don't know if you read comments from your older videos so I'm posting this again). Do I need to set my dial to movie mode in order to record properly onto the Atomos? Normally I hit record from the custom dial 1 & 2 to switch between 24 and 120fps prior to getting the Atomos, but I noticed that the Atomos recorded in a 4:3 ratio instead of the 16:9. Super confused... Is this because the custom dials are normally used for photography? Also, if I want to shoot past the record limit on the A7III, do I need to set the camera so that it won't go into any sort of energy saver mode?

It is still backlit and powered, but nothing showing on the monitor itself. It does not do this with the actual battery. Also, tip, the ninja requires primary power, so if you plug in say a Rode VMP+ to an extra USB port on the power bank, it will kill the ninja at least with the two banks I purchased.
