    Thanks, it helped me to get the main idea of what tight junctions function for in the body. Great examples, thank you.

    Very good presentation - thank you for sharing. This mechanism explains gut related disease such as IBS, IBD, Crohn's etc. and likely neuropsychiatric diseases.

    I have a questions about the JAMs which you talked about. You called them junction associated molecules and that their role is for the two epithelial cells to be close to eachother so small molecules can't diffuse. However, i can't find any material backing this up?

    Hello :) sorry, but my defense (master's) is in two days any I need a quick answer (and cannot find it): What makes complex tight junctions complex now? How are they specialised besides in their protein composition?

    • @missVierzehn
      @missVierzehn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I already found that TJ and AH are intermingled at the BBB and they are separate in the epithelia... But that doesn't really answer the question and neither does the protein composition

    Video is good but a bit distracting as you're trying hard to stick to the British accent 😑 Indian touch is all okay! Atleast it won't distract...

      I am taking your feedback very positively and in future we will try to incorporate the changes in voice modulation and accent.thanks….please share with your friends.
