I'll be getting my SMT10 Digger soon, and these upgrades videos are very well done, so thanks! I really like how you went for some budget-friendly upgrade options. A lot of guys recommend the best of everything, and I don't think it's necessary to spend the money for the best of the best, at least not for certain parts. I hope you'll post some follow-up videos to talk about how the upgrades worked out, and for us to see her running. Nice work!
Follow up vids will hopefully be coming once I have some time to head out. I try to have a good mix of nice parts and budget friendly parts in my vehicles. Unless I'm building a shelf queen... if it does the job and it'll perform just as good... I'll use it.

Yeah, was pleasantly surprised when I saw those 3 different offset size adapters included with the wheels.
What’s the exact hex driver you used on the Tribute Wheels? All the drivers I used was to big for the hole 🕳 on the Tribute Wheels? Frustrated and sold it lol
I am using MIP nut drivers and MIP hex drivers bits. Interesting that your tools didn't fit.

I’m using the widest offset for mine and they still run one the trailing arm with full steering lock? Any suggestions? I don’t have any sway bars on the truck do you think it’s that?
Mine did the same as well. You need to adjust your end points. I don't use the stock radio with it, so I have that ability. If you are still using the stock radio, I'd suggest getting a decent radio that can set end points.
any plans to paint, or dye the wheels?
Not at the moment. Right now we're just running them as is. I'll try to get videos of them running soon.
Newbie question: do you have to glue the tires?
Yes, if you run enough power the tires can slip or come off the wheel.

Any reason you chose the Firestorms over the Renegades?
No big reason. I just like the "old school" monster truck look they have.

Someone told me to put 2.2 tires on mine, is it better for it to be wider
Well, the stock wheels and tires are wide 2.2s from Axial. I'm using JConcepts wheels that are 2.6 and tires about the same size as a Tamiya Clod Buster. The 2.2 combination will put less stress on the axles, but the 2.6 setup just looks more correct for a monster truck.
