What kinda battery do U use? Cuz I want my digger & max D to go a lot faster cuz U no out of the box there kinda slow!
I’ve upgraded the motors to give them more speed. A lot of people are using the traxxas xl5 esc and a radon reedy 17t brushed motor.
i would like to ask you ? i have hobby wing 4000kv motor and i am running 15 t pinon and the motor is get to hot what is the best thing to do go down on the pinon or to install a fan on the motor ????

No it shouldn’t be. You may hear the gears whine a little more if you have them all switched out to metal ones.
Can run on 2 and 3s outta the box ??axial says the esc is rated for 2s only plus several other Rc TH-cam channels ??

In the intro are you running stock tires? I know you have the renegades but the other ones look stock
No those are the renegades in the pic with the skull. The stock ones are still awesome I use them on some other trucks.

@@endosrc I don’t add any tire shine but you could if ya want. I clean them with simple green it does a great job.

HELLO THERE RC OUTLAW HAVE A SMT 10 WITH ALL METAL GEARING AND THE MOTER IS HOBBY WING EZ RUN MAX 10 3300KV RUNNING 13 T PINON WITH 3S LIPO FAST ANOFF FOR ME DO HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS TO MAKE IT FASTER ????
You can play with the gearing if you want a higher top speed or faster off the line. I had to put a smaller motor in mine after putting the hobbywing sct setup in there I couldn’t keep the front tires down lol
hello why did you go with metal gear over plastic gears on the transmission and metal mip drive shaft ????
Bc when you add a huge motor the plastics gears strip

I’m not sure I changed it back to a brushed motor over a year ago. It was way to fast and constantly kept breaking parts every time i ran it

I have one with a castle mamba it, it’s a beast but it breaks every time I run it. I think it’s time to swap the slash stuff in it also
Every single time for me too lol it definitely breaks less and drives more scale with a slower setup but going fast get your blood pumping!! I’m gonna get my hands on one of the new losi lmt and see if it can handle my high speed abuse!
RC OUTLAWS it does get back flips off the maple tree, but the suspension links don't like it lol

Yea a metal on metal humming sound is normal. As long as all of your gears are lined up properly and you don’t see any unusual wearing or binding you should be good

Ill orobably carch flack for this but the smt is more scale to me than the lmt. The body especially.
I have em both, and the smt moves around more scale than the lmt in my opinion

Can you give us the links or part numbers for the upgrades? I bought the first version of this truck and I swear, it wouldn't make it past 30/45 min without something breaking on it. I have literally replaced everything but the chassis. Thanks in advance!
Well i've got so many different parts on it and others that I still swap in and test with. Its really a constant build with these smt's lol Any certain parts in particular your lookin for? Have you seen the new Losi LMT?
Im about to build a smt10. I've seen comparisons between the two. They seem to push the LMT with the beefier axles, but they seem to break just as easily. Just about any rc, after a while, used for big jumps, that has straight axles, will eventually break them. They really arent made for lots of huge jumps. There are other rc's that are better suited for that.

Sure the set I got was made by traxxas for an old discontinued grave digger they made a few years ago. You can do something similar with 2 red rc led lights that you can find on ebay or Amazon
J ai suivi le livre a la lettre et ma direction est en pointé de pizza..j ai regardé les dimension avec les pièces d origine et pourtant identique. Le livre est très mal détaillé..je ne sais pas qu es ce que j ai fait comme erreur..tu aurais tu une idée pour règlé mon problème..je suis nouveaux de le Hobbit..mes fusé avant frote sur les ose bôme et les coupes et de la misère a viré..( la j ai recommandé des tige d essieux mais Une pièce ). je t'en supplie aide moi a trouvé mon erreur..le magasin Rc ne veulent pas m aidé car pas acheté chez eux et allé leur porté c est compliqué..je suis a pied dans le fond de la compagne..mon budget n est pas haut..1000 merci pour tes idée que je pourrais essayé pour règlé mon problème..je ne sais pas si aurait mi des pièce de direction du mauvais coté..es ce que sa la une droite et une gauche sur les porte fusé et le supore qui les tien?

I actually bought a traxxas grave digger light kit over a year ago and they fit perfect. Not sure if you can still find them. The truck had been discontinued for a while when I got the set.
