FINALLY! A ANIMAL CHARACTER THAT DOESN'T BREAK THE LAWS OF PHYSICS AND PUTS THERE HEADPHONES ON THE SIDE OF THERE HEAD INSTEAD OF THERE EARS!! UNLIKE ARTHUR 😭😭
I still think they could've made a design of headphones that would be better functional for animals, because they look like ear defenders which block sound by covering the ear rather than replacing it with music, with they don't seem to do as they only seem to loosely cover them and its a wonder to me how they stay on, but instead of be mad about it I made a design that would make sense to me to just show that its possible to myself
This is some real quality representation! I’ve seen other clips from this show and the positives I’ve seen this far include: Carl explains himself to his friends that he is autistic and what that means instead of someone else doing it for him More than one autistic character, and they emphasize how they experience autism differently Autistic friendship Do you know how rare these things are on screen? Also, their little stims ahhhhh, they’re so cute!
Knowing more than just one character that are autistic, makes me happy, specially because Carl is not just like Lotta, they both have different traits that make them difficult (and beneficial) in different situations, that's why it's called ASD (autism spectrum disorder), and i like it because i wanted more autistic representation specially because i'm autistic myself and sometimes I feel a little misunderstood, and knowing characters that have similar troubles as me makes me comfortable Now thinking about it, i've seen some scenes in Lotta expectation and I like that she is a character who has implied Synesthesia (auditory-visual type), specially because Synesthesia is more common on neurodivergent people
Fortunately I managed to graduate before the pandemic but just like every autistic I had my hiccups. It all started during the graduation ceremony practice where some guy came up to me and said he was the seat I was in for a friend, they weren’t assigned so of course I confused why that matters where I want to sit. I was then taken to the library crying and my dad picked me up then grabbed my diploma for the award ceremony at his house. Keeping a job even as an adult was still not easy, I would have Sams Club members ask me things I can’t answer then storm off. When I lived with a roommate I had a framed print one of my grandmas oil paintings, he was a quantum blood Native American so he had Native decor all around the place and even though as a roommate I had the right to decorate however I want he broke the roommate agreement. I then moved back in with my dad then after some other job experiences I am now happy working remote for my dad’s insurance agency
Im so happy to see this especialy because the kids here were so kind to lotta .many of the classmates i ever had were very rude with me thank to god i will be homescholeed soon
I relate to Lotta as an INFP-T, and I tell them to stop calling me that and if they don’t, I just simply ignore them and just resume with headphones on not as an act of rudeness, but as an act of solace and maturity towards the aggressor, and of those that make fun of me anyway, as I’ve been way worse than headphone boy growing up as my 30s and I went through so much when my diagnosis began 30 years ago, as it was very troublesome, even for my family to bear, but I learned to overcome it all.

As an autistic person, I think it’s *really* cool and important for autism awareness.
As long as you're not a Therian or Otherkin, you're cool.
I love how they show that autsim is different for everyone through Carl and Lotta
yeah
this is genuinely so healing. im so glad there's kids media today that has representation like this
From the little I've seen of this show, it looks amazing. As an autistic person, I'm so glad that the younger generation has this
I really hope this makes the younger kids more accepting of autism!
