- Former President Donald Trump is immune from criminal prosecution for official acts he allegedly committed during his tenure, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday in a landmark decision that could shield Trump from the indictments against him and dramatically redefine the limits of presidential power.
The 6-3 decision comes months after oral argument in April, during which Trump’s lawyers and a team led by Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith debated the extent to which immunity covers an official presidential act.

Prosecuters have to develop a legal theory based on the letter of the law, so what seems like a no-brainer to the average person can be challenging to prosecute in a court case. I'm not a lawyer, but our justice system is adversarial. If a prosecutor goes in front of the judge and jury and just says that we all saw it on the TV, that prosecutor is going to get beat.

My question to you legal eagles is: given these new permission for presidential immunity, what can or should Biden do to correct the damage? Can he impeach the justices who violated their oaths of impartiality, and avoidance of emollients? Can he threaten jail without a trial if they don't resend their decisions or revise them? Can seal team 6 take a potshot at Trump, or summarily imprison him under presidential order, based upon the requirement a felon is not qualified to run for president? Can he order judge Merchan to put Trump in jail for max sentence?
What happened to these Justice's saying no one is above the law even the president. This is horrifying.
