Aside from being kind, Sarah is always professional. She will never take things personal. What a remarkable entrepreneur!
Hated Deborah's ego with the way she went out, but she really redeemed herself at the end when she didn't hesitate to tell Stephen the time limit wasn't fair
Bro. I was literally gonna type that but saw ur comment. Soo true
She never once said that.
@@joewas2225 she literally did, 11:27
@Joe Was she said "that's not fair, that's not on"
Extremely arrogant way of going out tho, crucified the guy over the phrasing when he was just trying to compliment them.
Nothing better than to start a pitch with a good cup o' cringe.
I don't think i've ever hated someone so much
guy would live in the World of cringe
@@b-dogs1038 this comment is cringe
@@aa4488 yes, I think might remove it😉.
I’m now feeling very cringe
He looks and acts like he sources his ‘caffeine’ from Pablo Escobar
My thoughts exactly 😂
😆😆😆😆
🤣
Love this haha
El Chapo ....lol...
Deborah : "You didn't give an exhaustive list of everything I can do, so therfore, you've insulted me (even though it's unreasonable to expect anyone to do that)"
Lost a lot of respect for her on that one. It's not the first time she's gotten unecessarily insulted over nothing. I don't think I'd want to work with her.
massive ego
Seemed pretty dickish to give him 10 seconds to answer. It's a huge decision and deserves proper time and consideration, which is why they encourage people to talk to the wall. Just felt like bullying him into it when he was probably going to say yes regardless
Have you seen shark tank 🦈
And I thought it was a Peter Jones' Tactic he had left in the distant past... 😕
It's a great play and stops Sara undercutting them.
I think it makes sense considering what he was saying about trust earlier
More like business. If he REALLY wants Steven / Peter, then the dragon itself should play more of a role than equity value and should be their focus. Also, gives them more leverage than negotiate and dragons getting a lower priced deal.
They would absolutely tear someone to shreds for making impulsive decisions, gives 10 seconds to make life changing decision
Entrepreneur: Starts singing.
Me: I'm out.
Anyone who takes their health and performance seriously does not rely on caffeine kicks. Long term use only increases adrenal fatigue and addiction. Cant respect it.
I don't take pre workouts because of my gastritis but I feel like even my pounding weights everyday will cause much worse impact down the line than a coffee or two a day
People drink coffee every day. People also don't want to be influenced by daft unbacked health claims from some unidentified Karen in a TH-cam video.
PS: I do take my health seriously and use caffeine in a medicinal manner. If I want to try a caffeine chew then I just might.
Tbh, people buy coffee because it's just what you drink in the morning for breakfast. It's rare the effects of caffeine would do it's job when the brain becomes accustomed to the same dosage, particularly when drinking 3 cups during the Day.
@@originalunoriginal4055I drink 8 cups a day each with 2 teaspoons

I googled this product and David is a success story. Good for him ! Well done
Wikipedia?
So happy to hear, thanks.
Walked in and he thought he was on shark tank
hes on something, definitely not caffeine
Definitely a freak. I reckon he was on Jenny's famous "I'mIN" koolaid drink
Probably ate 10 bonbons of that LOL
lol
adderall lol
Pretty good ad for the coffee
He's querky and funny but serious when needed, seems like a cool dude
I REALLY hope this works out for David with the expertise of Stephen & Peter - Well done!! 😀
Debra is such a baby
Would you smash Debra
This dude made me want to give up coffee/caffeine altogether.
Deborah always takes offence to the strangest things.
Yeah he had actually done his research and knew exactly what she would offer and it was clearly just the main thing he felt she could offer not the only thing. She just took offence for no reason at all because he didn’t list every single thing she could offer.
@@GuitarJammerJohn yeah he didn’t recite her entire resume
You do not need caffeine to exercise!
I had high hopes for Stephen when he was introduced but safe to say he's become very alike Jenny-Kelly. I'm sorry to those that like him because he was a fresh young face in the den amongst oldies but even in his second season he's not quite having the energy you would want from a new dragon in terms of investing in actual good ideas and struggling businesses that just need an extra kick to get going. Sara was the best in her first season but she's lost her investment energy, probably from lots of investments going wrong. Stephen now only invests once in a blue moon and it's ever rarely a decent idea. This was probably an exception.
It's not xfactor it's real life and real money 💰
Such a great episode. I think Deborah should've seen the funny side of it though. Perhaps she would've made an offer if she could've got there.
Rule no1 in the den, don’t call Deborah ‘debs’ 🙃
Or Debbie.

Deborah is very touchy.
What'd she do??
She has and exercises her firm boundaries. She is clearly not one to take crap from anybody. Not touchy but assertive. Deborah is very assertive.
She's so far up herself she doesn't know manners
They actually signed the deal, company's active so far. I thought he'd flinch away from the deal.
I'm at work just listening to the audio but I had to come to my screen and see who it is singing like that lmao
What was that Stephen 😂😂😂😂😂. I’m dead 1:33
🤣🤣🤣🤣
They were in use with the British Army forty years ago; but strict limitations on their use -they can have a massive downside
yes. they found that long-term use can abnormally enlarge the heart because the heart is a muscle. this can lead to all sorts of issues esp in later life.
I’ve paused @ 1min
This guy would be the type to hop out of bed early, pull up the blinds, clap his hands a few times & rejoice because he can feel his bowels ready to empty.
Did he….just kissed Deborah’s portrait?! 😂😂😂
Not impressed with 10 sec time limit
Deborah being a right diva
has to be top 5 of the most ackward pitches ever
awkward
At least Steven didn’t count down from ten 🙃 Imo Peter was way worse in an older video where he gave a guy 3 minutes to accept a deal, constantly reminded him about the time left, while the poor man was panicking and trying to rush the other dragon’s responses 😅
Steven taking lessons from Cuban lol
Steven Bartlett is a breath of fresh air, not afraid to take different investment strategies or be upstaged by the more experienced Dragons.
His 'you have 10 seconds to accept' conditional offer was quite dramatic and unprofessional, though
Are there a bunch of people on TH-cam who just find new black people on programmes and say "breath of fresh air"
@@GennySavastone who said anything about being black?
I just keep on seeing the same thing over and over
@@GennySavastone weird how u just jump straight to his race when no one mentioned it, edgy
Some of the Dragons REALLY get their feathers ruffled over trivial bullshit.
Deb was in a bit of a mood on this wasn't she!
Who does Deborah think she is 😭😭😭
wow, everyone is so jacked up on caffeine that they forgot to shake hands on the deal.

Deborah: my ego is hurt and for that reason i am out
Yooo crazy boy, I'm happy for him! I want 1% of his confidence ahaha
4:18 I think this is the first time I've ever seen Touker stand up
I'm sure this guy is revved up on something other than caffeine!
Because, if he is this energetic on his caffeine product, people would be more motivated to wake up at 6am!
This guy is definitely taking a packet of those bullets a day his energy was through the roof in that pitch
Spreading anxiety and poor quality sleep, good job mate
I have raced David Hellard before and the guy is a machine! Proof in the pudding
09:06 in the queue for water
Officially one of the creepiest pitches in history 😳😲🤔
I wonder if Debra was sore after all the mental gymnastics she did to get to her reason for being out?
Was quite obvious that David was going to say yes regardless ,I didn't understand why Stephen give him 10 seconds to answer, despite that, David didn't rush to accept the doble entrepreneurs offer,
with nice manners firstly rejected Sara's offer .
Thanks for the reminder
Of course I know Deborah has a lot of investments. But I could also see myself saying exactly the same thing. Deborah is associated with environmental impact. There's nothing wrong with that because that's how she is portrayed in the den by everyone - other dragons, narrator.
"How dare you describe me using something I'm deeply and publicly passionate about?"
Stimulant drinks and chews are not a good idea for the body long term, over use of caffeine is a real health issue.
He’s fantastic, and adorable.
No one else took offence for what they are known for except debra
The 10 second pitch bullying tactic was below the belt. Shady tactics and taking advantage.
Deborah’s reasoning was so petty, nothing to do with business.
Deborah: I think you got a tremendous product, a good business model, promising metrics, you know your business, you are rentable, but you didn't say how beautiful and charming I am, and for this reason, I am out
Great guy to back!
He’s so likeable.
Debra throwing her toys out of the pram again!!!
What did he have on his shoes? At first I thought that was what he was going to pitch.
If you rely on caffeine to workout it shows there are other areas of your health you need to work on.
Working with Deborah would be an absolute nightmare lol
And for that reason alone, I'm out.
If it had any real impact it would be put on the banned substance lists for athletes.
Nope because it's normalised. There's a reason pre workout primarily has caffeine.
I loooove this guy!!! 😂
His caffeine seems to have fired up the wrong neurotransmitter.
I actually like david
Deborah should just wear a Grinch suite. 😑😑😑
Daviddddd!!!! Legend
He is a classic toff that loves to regale people about his runs across the Sahara or helping the nomadic tribes of Tibet, or climbing Everest blind folded because he wanted to experience what blind people go through and to show there are no limitations on what you can do.
In a nutshell, I’m Oot
Love this pitci
Damm..i just bagged my coke…. Will it sell
Peter face 😂kill me for pitch
But the entrepreneur end up with offer
why just exercise, marketing students who need to study round the clock, night workers and early starters would benefit from a caffeine chew
On Amazon for £24.99 for a bag of 40 sweets
Debras out because of him giving examples for that they are good at. Most absurd thing ever heard in the den togheter with duncan's are you sure this electric toothbrush runs on battery
Any wellness/fitness-adjacent product is a no-brainer for Steven. The entrepreneur gets free (i.e. no extra cost above what's being paid for equity) marketing via Diary of a CEO, where it'll be presented to it's target audience with a similar value to Huel, Zoe, AG1, and Steven doesn't really have to do much in order to give it that boost and get it started down the influencer advertisement pathway
Wasn't he in fight club? I reckon that's where he made the product.
It's the guy off the golden trail series documentary. If u know u know.
I think Touker is a good guy and Sara is pure gold.
I thought it was a suppository lol
And Deborah told him where to put it.
Great pitch and enthusiasm of a young entrepreneur. Deborah sure missed that one, sometimes it's better to set aside prideism (if that's even a word!)
It's not a word lol, just say pride
Guarantee this crazy dude wolfed down a packet of these things before enetering the room
Big head meaden so self important
10 seconds too make your mind up was really bad imho
wow, 3 dragons in the den nowadays
great for truck drivers
we are going back to the days of people selling pure caffeine? dangerous
Caffene is not cocaine
Dmaa is similar having tried both
"see you in a min debs"what a weirdo. Hopefully Deborah saw that after this aired and raised her concerns!
Didn't know Will Smith was a dragon lol
Very modest isn't he 🤣
He's high on something and I don't know what
Jesus, already a lot of cringe in the first 30 seconds
Edit: Nvm the whole thing is cringe
The idea of healthy people taking stuff just to give them a rush & a kick to work out, sounds like a bunch of druggies 😂
coke, roids, preworkout, adhd meds, caffeine. Does motivation exist outside of stimulants and ped's? idk if I have ever met a single person who didn't rely on one of these to get through their gym session.
he pulled the mark cuban pressure and while dirty it sometimes works but I doubt this business was profitable
