I feel like the natural response to "why doesn't Wrigley's introduce this?" is something along the lines of "because they'd have to admit their product has been full of literal plastic for decades" 😅 Brands don't want to make moves that jeopardize their entrenched position.

And they get lazy. He even used the example of Heinekken. Also, they often feel it's easier to let the small guys prove proof of concept and then buy up because they're so lazy.

I think Deborah should have invested, even if it was purely charity. Because without help I don't think he's going to make even a rub mark let alone a dent. I still choose my favourite flavour of Wrigleys off the shelf, I barely even have to look at the shelf, which is full of one brand only. It's not even a shelf its a stand alone unit in almost every shop.

Chewing gum isn't made from rabbit skin, it is made from elephants toenails.

Feel bad for the guy. Great product that needs some dragons help. It’s visible to have alternatives to the big boys.

For me it’s the price, if it’s cheaper and still nice, I will buy the best one for me, saving the planet, someone else can do that.

    Great pitch
    Confident in his answers
    Knows his product
It's just 50'000 , to the dragons that money is nothing or a vacation.
This product is really great and definitely would have been a game changer.
Ppl chewing on plastics rather than plants all bcoz of profits .
That's the problem in this world.
Hope he gets a loan and hire a marketing team. Don't give up.

Deb is all talk. At the end of the day, she just wants to exploit and make money. But she sings 'environment' and 'sustainability'.
