We all need a Claire rooting us on. (And an Aaron to tell us to not worry about it)
Hitting the bell was the best decision I've made this year
😍😍😍

This looks so good. My wife keeps promising she will get me your book. First it was for Christmas, them for my birthday, and now for Father's Day. 😂
Hope you get it soon! 🤣🔥
I am now the owner of a Korean kitchen. Well, I'm not Korean, but the sweet lady at the Korean grocery knows me by name now, and I've been eating almost exclusively Korean food since I discovered you! So delish.
I absolutely adore Claire and how much she enjoys the food! She is so stinking cute and I love that she mostly speaks in korean! It sounds so beautiful! Watching her enjoy the food is so fun!
I love jjampong! I never had it with beef. Will definitely try this recipe! Thank you Aaron and Clare
Hope you like this recipe. Thank you for watching 😍
I've trusted you every time, and you've never let me down. This was INCREDIBLE. So much flavor and so fresh tasting. My new instant ramen replacement for sure.
I need "I'm Not Responsible" merch to be made.
Dear heavens, this is so comforting
I just got your book for a Mother's Day present! I can't wait to start making all this delicious food from it!

Yeesss, I really love your recipes and how accessible you make them. Thank you so much
Appreciate the knowledge. Mid USA - buy simple beef and slice thin. Yum.
Nice work with the mise en place! Loving the channel
I am so hungry and have been debating myself to go and make ramen for a good few minutes and now you're on my For You page with this vid... That's my sign from above haha
Haha, it sounds like fate! Go make this noodle soup and enjoy every bite! 😄🍜
I'm in Tx and it's sooooo hot, but come fall/ winter i can see this being my go to

I bought your book a while back and I absolutely love it! I have made Buldak so so so many times, my wife demands it all the time!!!!
Wow so amazing recipe ❤❤
Looks delicious
Absolutely epic guys x
That looks so ridiculously good!!!
So good ricepe 👍👍👍
I love recipes with this amount of fresh ingredients, especially when you have most them in fridge and also have the dried ingredients.
Just made this for dinner and OMG - it was so good! Absolutely loved it! Great flavor - I also added shitake mushrooms and used lots of Bok Choy. Highly recommended!
This is my favorite soup 😋!!
I love your cookbook I make it for my gf who is Korean and she loves the food I make.
You guys are amazing
this looks amazing!!!
Thanks! 😍
I cooked this for dinner yersterday. It was fantatstic. Added some Sprouts, it was delicious and easy to prepare. Thank you for this blazing recipe.
Clair is happy. This is in your book because I am going to try this
looks tasty 😋
I'm going to make this tomorrow ❤❤❤
Please let us know how it was 😍
LOL @Claire when Aaron asked her does she want more spicy ? ,but she replied nope.
You’re the best!
That looks delicious, I can't wait to make this. Thank you!!
Rameyeon & Ilbon-style ramen (made like fresh ramen shop ones) are quite the vehicle for many dishes, as shown by the huge amount of simple dishes that can be made with either
Claire has the most amazing skin ever
Just made this but used a premade packaged and followed the instruction with angus sirloin steak. Def wished I cut it thinner. Used the chilli powder from the bag! My husband said it was the best one I’ve ever made didn’t have cabbage or the other one. And didn’t have oyster sauce definitely will be getting some to do it again
Id buy a book of Clair’s most favorite Korean dishes, named ‘Taste Tester: Clair! by Aaron Huh’ ❤
Just gave your video the 900th like Aaron
My favorite noodle soup is yukaejang. I is ridiculously awesome. 😂 9:17 I hadn't got that far in when I wrote that. Serves me right
CLAIRE!!
😍
I bought your book and I can only hear your voice narrating it while I’m reading 😂
THX
Ok ok im buy the book now your wife convinced me ❤
That runaway green onion slice. XD
what’s the wok / pan that you use? looking for good cookware and i want the one you have😄
I just made this right now and it’s delicious and super easy! The only thing I did different was use dashi broth instead of water to give more umami ❤️🔥 thanks so much for the recipe ill definitely be making it again 🤣
My pleasure! So glad you enjoyed it! 😍
I am heading to Seoul next week and will be staying in Insadong. Do you have any restaurant recommendations for that area?
짬뽕 is one of my favorite foods ever. Seafood for the win though!
This sounds awesome. Can you maybe name the brands of the sauces you use? I couldn't find it in the blog.
That were the most beautiful green onions I've ever seen 😅
I can't wait to try this. I don't tell my family that I sneak MSG into my Asian meals, lol.
Hi! It could be nice to have the sea food version too! 🥰
I love it how you say "MSG" like it's some type of hidden dark magic that needs to be preserved at all costs 😂
If I want to double the servings I should also double the amount of water or no? Looks super yummy!
Yes, you can. But since our stove is weaker, I recommend using 2 pots and cooking at the same time to get the best result.
This recipe makes 2 servings, if you need a list of ingredients or exact amount, please check out the written recipe as well. 🤗 aaronandclaire.com/chadol-jjamppong-korean-spicy-noodle-soup-with-beef-brisket/
The version of this dish in Central Asia is called "Lagman". It is an Uighur dish.
Lagman looks super delicious. I gotta try that sometime! 😍
@@AaronandClaire It is very tasty and filling )
What do you think of adding some chicken stock or dashida stock instead of water? Would that be too umami?
*officially ceases to worry about it*
Aaron can you and Claire make some desserts please?
Aaron, if you happened to have some 3rd wash rice water handy would you use it in the jjamppong? Or would it thicken the broth too much? Actually... "don't worry about it" - I'll try both with and without it. I love this type of soup! 10/10
Don’t worry about it. That sounds delicious too! 😁👍
Will definitely try this out. But I can't handle spiciness well 😢
gonna be making this 2moro
grilled up some chuck the other day , gonna slice that up real thin
got some ground beef ill use with some coconut oil for the base/starter [think like mapo tofu style]
already got some noodles on hand , prolly gonna combine some somen with some angel hair
only need to go get some napa/bok choy , always looking for a good reason to go to the asian grocer =]
If you plan to cut your own beef/pork slices you get better results by seni freezing the meat till it become firm, this reduces the meat deforming under the pressure of the cuts, allowing finer cut to be made. I am going to ask a ethier strange or daft question but i'll ask anyway have you considered adding abit of unflavoured gelatin to the broth? I do this often with thin soups or broths for the mouth feel of a real long simmered stock.
Fuiyoh! MSG, mmm...
Today is Mother's Day in 🇲🇽 so my kids are cooking for me 🥰 I'll trust them 😎 that is going to be DELICIOUS 🎉 it's my turn to do the happy dance 💃 and a big MMMMMMM ❤🙌🇰🇷🫰
Happy Mother’s day! Hope you have a great time with your kids! 🥰
Do you know any recipe with artichoke leaves? Where I'm from in Normandie we love to dip them in hot heavy cream with salt and pepper and scrape the flesh with our teeth before discarding the spent leaves. then eat the core in the leftover cream after removing the hair. Artichoke kimchi would be amazing if that's a thing x)
I've never seen someone make kimchi with artichoke leaves but I guess that's quite possible 😍
Looks delicious, guys. Still sad that the picture of the dish doesn't print with the recipe, though.
Aaron, Claire I'm highly allergic to pork products, can I substitute beef or chicken to any of your recipes? Love you both, send love from Kentucky USA, thanks from your fan Eva Foster.
Sure, both of them would work but I think chicken works better as a substitute for pork! 🤗
What wok are you using? Didn't see any links to it!
It’s an wok called LocknLock hard and light. Sadly, I can’t find the exact same product on Amazon, but I’m sure you can find something similar if you search LocknLock woks or pans. 😎
Lots of "bad boys" in this recipe. Looking forward to trying this❤
This was exceptionally good with chimmichurri and Lao Gang Mah crispy chili oil on top.
Yum! That sounds good!
Looks great.
I absolutely hate that American (grocery stores and even a lot of butchers) don’t stock those beautifully thin cut slices. I grew up in LA where I could typically find that stuff at asian grocers but I’m way out in the boonies now.
how do you shred green onion
Also I have some yakisoba noodles in the fridge… would that work?
i think chadol is just brisket here in the US. If you cant find chadol you can freeze a brisket and thinly slice it.
♥️♥️♥️
