I take issue with how Inkling moves and paints. I feel like he doesn't paint as much as he should, which means that he doesn't leave himself with a ton of options to dodge or approach. He tends to get himself caught outside of his ink when there is someone in front of him.
Exactly. I noticed the same thing. I actually pay a lot attention to how much turf is or isn’t inked in my team’s color and make more of an effort to keep the map painted in our color and always in the area immediately around myself than most players I say. And when I give advice or give tips or teach less skilled players than me, Inking turf is the thing I stress the most.
@@Mindwipe96 Same here. It's a huge part of the game; just taking a little focus away from constantly killing to go and cover some ground makes you feel a ton more in control of the map. Enemies move in slower, and you can see them coming. You can bet that I will always take the time to cover up an area.
Great inkjet tips! Whenever I used that Special, I got into the habit of protecting my landing point just before time was up in case the enemy was camping it. Not always a guaranteed kill/escape, but at least it would scatter them long enough to buy me a few moments.
Part of inkjet smarts is knowing when to deploy; waiting for a good opportunity means you don't have to travel far. This allows you to keep an eye on your landing. Often you can splat someone trying to camp it.
My last five games that i won were in turf war went: 2008p 5 Splats 3 Specials 1876p 2 Splats 2 Specials 2054p 6 Splats 3 Specials 2156p 3 Splats 3 Specials I'm level 7 and suck at shooting games and have little experience in them. I know footage would be better, but are these scores good at all?
At level 7, good scores are cool and all, but what’s supafresh is having fun and exploring! If you’re having a good time and laughing and learning, the scores are perfect! If you’re stressing out then maybe pick up a wacky weapon and just have a good time for a minute. Losing ain’t so bad you know, you learn a lot getting bodied by rollers :] Don’t sweat it, and WELCOME! :D
@@marinocommapaul But losing all the time isn't fun either. Also the gameplay isn't quite amazing enough that I can be satisfied with simply playing it. But hey, if I can prestige in titanfall in a single week and keep this much of a win/loss ratio then I'll probably be fine to buy spla2n.
You askin me? After watching a lot of the educational stuff dude has. Avoiding tunnel vision and increasing overall game awareness is paramount. This guy got whacked a lot of times because he just charged in not givin a single f About anything (man power or lack of, his position on the map. Opponent's special) I think it was more lack of awareness than being overly self confident (which happens to all of us). No offense meant to the guy who kindly lent his vod for review as we all learn a lot From this
Thanks Dude! I learned a lot from this :)
How do I get him to criticize my game play?

Man Power Up - increases defense when your team has fewer players
oh for the love of god please analyze twitch streamer putz12!
YES
Dang, it’s my dude TheInklingGamer!
And it’s a Dr. Dude video, so that’s even more amazing.
Ain't that the truth!

Honestly as I just reached X rank, these videos are incredibly useful!
They help with decision making and thought process during a battle a lot!

A NEW DR.DUDE?!?! YES
Love hearing your analysis and thoughts. Great breakdown! Thank you
Awesome video and awesome content, thank for all Dr. DUDE.
The Splattershot Jr. caused all his problems 😆
yeah well, i let him take me down easily cuz i was makinbg bad jumps and my inkjet landing points sucked
This video made me feel pro, as i play 96 deco and player advantage is something that I take as a big part of sploon
When I see an inkjet I go full on anti aircraft.

Do I need a capture card to record gameplay? How much does it cost roughly?
I plan to do a collaboration with you, DUDE.
Idea: top 5 subs and weapons by a pro
edit: Not the most creative idea but it'll be nice still

pls do more dr. dude....! very helpful content
thanks i needed it also i hit level 70
Your second mistake is that you used stick controls. For an improved experience consider switching to the superior motion controls.
True but he is X rank after all
looks like motion to me, but if it is stick, he's playing it well enough to look indistinguishable.
@@Kinetik07 that camera and reticle look stiff as hell. Take a better look.
I was using motion XD
@@Kinetik07 You can notice it relatively easily when he is going straight. Try to take a good look at the camera while he is going in a straight line.
Power a enhanced controller review when?
