It’s funny when you realize that the only reason Vector was such a successful villain was because his daddy bought him all the best technology. His lair, his ship, he even told Vector where to find the shrink ray after Gru told him. The only things Vector made himself where his weird aquatic creature guns which never really worked.
Shoutouts to Despicable Me 1 for being a legit good movie. Heartwarming story, funny villain, good characters overall, and the best use of Minions. They’re used just enough for dumb gags but it’s super tolerable because they are pretty involved in the plot and more emotional moments (ie, stealing the shrink ray twice, Agnes’s new toy, pitching in for the Rocket). That’s all I need
Say what you want about the sequels, but this first movie is really good. Great characters, heartwarming story, and some legitimately funny moments. The Minions are used just the right amount, too, and don't overstay their welcome. Not here, anyway.

I love the original Despicable Me, and honestly all the sequels are fine, expect for the fact that Megamind got overshadowed (and eventually culled) because this series.
The other Despicable Me movies are really fun. The Minion movies are okay, noy great. I think you'll like the villain in Despicable Me 3, he's voiced by Trey Parker from South Park.
Actually many times they said they have watch the movie years ago, but have bad memory so they don't remember, other times, yeah, they didn't watch the movie XD
the first Despicable Me movie was good because it was Illumination's first proper movie, and it only went downhill from here. over time they didn’t try as hard on the stories anymore and just rode on their first movie's popularity by over-saturating everything with Minions and mediocre humor. Despicable Me 2 is alright, tho. the third, fourth and Minions movies are all very juvenile i'd say. thank you for listening to my review please like and subscribe-
Thats just sensalization of Santa. The original history of santa aka saint nick. Is that he was a carpenter, who made toys for orphans and delivered the toys he built to aforementioned orphans.
7:00 actually in the first Minions Movie, it explains their origin of being creatures who follow the "Biggest Boss" which then lead to them following evil/tyrannical creatures. If I remember, they served king sharks before they got eaten, T-Rexes before the meteors, and at one point Dracula because they "surprise birthday partied him while opening a window letting sun in" and kill him.
This first one was actually decent, because it's done by Sergio Pablo, the guy who would later make "Klaus." My guy knows how to write children in a sentimental way. Movie works because the minions are just gag stuff while the family element is the primary driver of the story. The other movies delve into those yellow bastards at the expense of everything else...
So, a few fun facts in the franchise's canon. 1) Gru didn't "make" the Minions. They started out as amoebas and developed into their own species and finished their evolution around the time dinosaurs existed, and they look for the most evil being they can find to be their leader. The Minions movie explains this, and how they met Gru, in more detail. 2) There are no female Minions, and they don't reproduce. They're pretty much indestructible and immortal. I believe Gru cloned the original Minions over time so his army of employees would grow. 3)Yes I said employees because Gru pays his Minions. He also knows all of them by name. He might be a villain, but he at least values/cares enough about them that he treats them fairly. 4) "Gru" isn't his first name, it's his surname. His full name is Felonious Gru... There's an extra part to his name now but if I add it, that counts as a spoiler for one of the later movies.
The reason for the end credits minion scene was because the cinema release was also in 3D. All the gags have the action directed towards the viewers wearing 3d glasses.
