My sons scout pops out of second gear. Do you have a video on that?

Your video did not include the lubrication of the cable barrel at the clutch arm.

Replace that cable with a Barnett, because the stock cable will break.

Step one: replace crappy stock cable with a Barnett cable.

Why not tell us which direction of the adjuster (clockwise or counter clockwise) increases or decreases cable slack? It would make it easier instead of letting us climb up and down as we try both directions. Same stupidity in the manual section on drive belt adjustment. Which direction makes the belt move left or right? You'll figure it out, no need for us to save you time and tell you.

pin75us1 The clutch freeplay seems to change when the engine warms up. I wonder if it’s better to adjust the clutch freeplay when the engine is warm or cold?

Tuomas Ekholm good point....I always adjust when it’s cold
