That critical step of torquing the axle to 15ft lbs before making adjustments!

Only way mine will ride in the center of the pulley is to have the alignment marks grossly out if whack, wheel is visibly cocked to the right.

I tried to center belt, but belt always goes on inner or outter flange. Belt should be centered only during adjustment or while normal exploatation? I have brand new Scout Bobber '19 and belt was on the outter side when it comes from manufacture.

Followed adjustments as stated, belt tracked in middle, slight to inner. After full retightening, I rode it around a little abs the belt moved towards outer flange , but not touching side. Is this normal?

It’s ok. Just don’t let it rub like it’s coming off. And what the video should have said is torque it down with the bike on the ground

Sorry, but adjusting the belt so that it runs in the middle doesn't work for me. I did it exactly as in the video and when that didn't work, according to the service booklet, as soon as you drive 100m it goes to the left towards the window. I also tried adjusting it with a laser and got exactly the same result. After adjusting it, everything was fine and after a few meters it was no longer in the middle 🤷🏻 I'm at a loss.

When are Indian going to make an AFFORDABLE motorcycle for the many?
Nothing flash.. A nice traditional Air Cooled V twin naked machine of around a 500/600cc.
The marque is NEVER going to get its name firmly in the minds of other vehicle owners, whilst it only produces superbikes with a £10,000+ price tag, that's only available to a minority of well off riders.
