Litterally exact same problem. I had to do a roadside repair and use a screw in the ecu pin, going to attempt a solder tomorrow! Thanks man super helpful
I had the same issue. I was a pain in the neck to pull pin out and solder it back on in tight space. What a rare case. Found out that it somehow connect to 2 sets of injectors and ignition coils based on wiring disgram. 😅
@@FredricMccubrey I was working on my f4i and I don't know where that pink wire went in the black plug. which hole bottom row or top row ,I can't till from the video you made . My bike off road for 10 years because of the pink wire.
I got her sorted, couldn't find anything in town, even from honda. Found a sweet site though out of the states that had oem replacment pins and connectors

You could try going to your local Honda dealer or calling them and asking.
