Its the diode in the bottom of your ignition switch. After market doesnt have one in it. You have to but it inline the redthat turns to pink at the plug needs the zener diode it should only be sending 9 volt to the comp.
Hiya, thx for the video. I have a little problem with my CBR 600 f4i 2001. Sometimes the engine shuts off when I Switch on the lights sometimes doesn't. However, the bike runs anytime with the lights off. Any chance you may know what is the problem?
Do anybody know were I can order the original relay switch’s from? my local bike shop don’t carry them I need the fuel cut off relay for the f4i 02 I try Amazon but thy send me the engine cut off one can’t find the fuel one they keep saying Honda dealer but don’t got one local
whats good bro, i am having an hell of a time with my bike i have a 99 honda cbr 600 f4 which was stolen a while ago but it was recovered and completely trashed when i got it back. ive completely rebuilt everything and i cant get this thing started. my relays are good. my fuel pump is priming, i have voltage on both wires which connect to the plugs but i dont have spark. i bought a zener diode which is the 3.9 .5w . when i put the diode on it drops the voltage to 9.5ish volts but still wont start.

Tanner Perdue no fuel pump and no spark with mine I never had any issues with the bike until I lost the key and had to get home so I drilled it out not knowing it had a zen or diode in the bottom of the key switch but it worked and I drove it like that for a few weeks until the pen key switch I ordered came in . I installed the oem key switch and it worked great for a few weeks then one day just wouldn't start will turn over but no spark no fuel pump I tried everything I could think of have you had any luck with yours

Did you ever get it right...i was thinkn is your ignition switch factory or have u changed it..sometimes it could be a different key and switch..let me kno what happens...my cbr 600 re was the way...i got the original key switch back and got a key made and it worked...jus incase
so im in the same boat i have my fuel priming and power to my coils but no spark and it cranks hard, Also did the TIP senser bypass but no spark. any ideas?

That black fuse you mentioned I think is actually the clutch diode, thanks!
So it doesn't have anything to do with powering the bike? Is it 3 pin diode and not a fuse?

I cAnnot find the pink wire for the zener diode. I see yours is wired in on the left side of bike but into where exactly?

Junior Dabarber it was the Ecu. I bought a new one, hooked it up and she fired right up like nothing ever happened.
