- Jury selection has begun in Alec Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter trial. Baldwin faces up to 18 months if found guilty in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust" in 2021. As jury selection began, there were concerns that Baldwin's legendary "Saturday Night Live" performances in which he mercilessly mocked Donald Trump might impact the way the jurors feel about him. Inside Edition's Jim Moret has more.

What's up with the judges that allow evidence to be hidden. They need to be transparent on both sides for the jurors to make an Informed decision. Just like another recent trial not allowing the key witness that blows the whole prosecution out the window.
You’re right, that was a portion of why the case was dismissed. The prosecution hid exculpatory evidence from the defense.

If he was paying attention and following the safety procedures and regulations by not pointing it at another human, then him pulling the trigger would have just been an accident that resulted in no one getting harmed. instead, he willfully and negligently pointed the gun at her and pulled the trigger, and an innocent woman lost her life because of his idiotic negligence. Even if you believe the disproved narrative of "the gun magically went off" (physically impossible) that still doesn't negate the fact he pointed a firearm he did not know the condition of at someone. There is no getting around it; he is responsible for her death directly.

How justice works in the USA: If a person is wealthy/connected, the law protects them but does not bind them. If a person is a poor nobody, the law binds them but does not protect them.
