Judge Mary Marlowe Summer is a hero.. What a great judge. she is not going to put up with State hiding evidence. >> Agreeing with the defense that the state did not disclose possibly consequential evidence, the judge said, "The sanction of dismissal is the only warranted remedy."

Deliberately withholding any evidence, let alone exculpatory evidence, is unforgivable. And since that prosecutor lied about it to both the judge and the defense repeatedly and then got busted on it, after the jury was sworn in, thats it, the judge had to dismiss the case with prejudice.
And frankly, the prosecutor should be sanctioned and disbarred.

She’s a great prosecutor. She might be annoying to YOU but she’s great at catching those fancy lawyers at their games. They want Alec to get away with manslaughter. She isn’t going to let that happen. If you don’t like her don’t watch the trial.

@Patricia-cy7ij Seems to me (from what I saw) she didn't follow the rules and apparently took liberties working with law enforcement that extended beyond the scope of her role. She is not a detective and should not have had influence over the decision by the detective and the CST to put (bury) the evidence under a different case number. And incredibly, she then lied about it...after the case was dismissed - when being interviewed outside. Hancock said it was she, Morrisey and Popple who determined it should not be part of the evidence for this trial. We are supposed to have a fair justice system and when a prosecutor is making investigatory decisions and exceeding the known boundaries, this is what needs to happen. My concern is that there could be innocent people in jail that have suffered from this type of activity - and had a judge who did not make a just decision to dismiss the case.

That was THE BEST. And so much gaslighting by Morrisey - who totally threw Popple under the bus saying she lied under oath when the prosecutor herself was IN ON and PART OF the decision making process to hide the evidence under another case number so the defense wouldn't see it and so that Hannah's case won't be overturned on appeal. But it will now. Hancock said Morrisey made the call together with her and Popple. Then Morrisey said again outside court that she just learned about the evidence today. She must have forgotten she already was outed on this - by the judge!

I think the judge has been bought off on this case. She sure is different from the Hanna Guterrize case! A FULL 180°

She is different. Kind of showing bias for Alec. This defense is rattling the judge, the crime scene tech, and the prosecutor.

I think because it made sense to prosecute the armorer. This was her responsibility. Many professionals in the industry have said that it's very rare for an actor to check the prop guns on set as there are at least two other people that do that prior to handing it over to the actor. So, while the judge shouldn't show any bias to either side, it makes sense that this trial is a sham while the one for the armorer made sense.

The judge says she doesn’t wanna see the box then less than four minutes later, she seems annoyed, saying she needs to see the box.
