Could you please tell me when you put the clip (2:56) back does it matter where that metal piece inside the tube is in relation to the clip when you put the clip back in. What is this cable anyway? Thanks!
The cable does go back in a specific place. Before taken it fully out take some photos. This cable is what releases the seat when you pull those 2 levers in the right side of the trunk.
Thanks for the reply. Now I know that error I got had nothing to do with that cable. Also I think I did not explain myself best. To put my question another way what is the purpose of that clip? Maybe to hold that metal piece in place!
Thanks again for the video. Today I put the seat back in. I did the reverse procedure to install the cable. Now I am getting the error code c1391 for the brake system which is Abnormal leak in Accumulator. Any idea? I know that for a few days that I was working on something else on the car I have push the brake many times with that cable being still disconnected. the car was not moving.
@@DjNYTEE I would watch a video on maybe an earlier rx getting seat replaced. It may be similar to the current rx. If you do it your self remove the seat and take it slow becareful with any plastic clips and best of luck. Im sure you can figure it out. Time and patience will get you threw it. If possible record and upload to TH-cam im sure you can help others out with your experience.

Do you happen to know the seat bolt size that a socket I need to remove the bolts

Unfortunately I don't. I usually would use a custom upholstery shop. Its not as expensive as you might think.
ok i paid a pretty penny for the bottom leather from discount parts monster website and didnt want to spend any more for the install. thanks
