At in-laws house, realized their middle seatbelt in the back was gone. Quick TH-cam search, first video I clicked on was this. Forwarded video to the removal, seatbelt fixed in less than 5 minutes. Amazing!
An absolutely useless explanation. you showed how to put the seat back in with the clips. But you did not show how you actually got the seat out in the first place. which is the title of this video blog.
@@zrd998 Exactly what I was going to say. 😂 Not to mention, he explains the mechanism(s) holding the seat in place and notes "no tools"... @john gabriel Maybe if you actually tried to hear people out, you'd better understand cars, along with the 61 people who agree with your comment. Just a thought 🤷♂️
I actually enjoyed the video, didn't know you could remove the cover so cheers for that, need to refit a carpet so I'll wash the seat cover whilst I do it
The problem is he streteched a 30 second video to almost 6 minutes and saved the only useful part for the end. Which I have no idea why because you need to get to 10 minutes to monetize.
tried it on a 2023 seat ibiza and you have to pull hard, once its up there will be a plug on the passenger side then lift it up and look under and at the back there should be a metal wire under a hooked piece push into the front of the bench and slightly lift up towards to the back rest while still pushing on the front of the bench
First off this video could have been 30 seconds. Also title needs to be specific this is for a 2017 Mirage. There are plenty of rear seats that have clip buttons you have to push or certain push/pull to release a hinge and then swing up and forward. If you yank on most rear seats like this you are going to break something.
I left a gallon of milk in my jeep 2021 jeep limited. It opened up and now stinks I have the Leather seat cream color but think it went to the carpet under the seats
I'm having a hard time finding instructions on how to remove just the split back of the seat, but not the bottom bench. I have an '07 Vue. Any one know if this is possible?
@@theoverengineer Okay, thank you! I was trying to remove bolts at the point where it pivots to fold down which didn't work. I'm going to have to look up how to detach the shoulder belt too. Wish you were my neighbor and could just come over to stow me! Thanks for the reply! Edit - I just checked your account and see that you're in Canada too! If you're near Vancouver, I need your help and want to take your classes 😆 You have a very relaxing voice. I'm looking forward to watching your other channel as that interests me more than car stuff!
This video reminded me of going to a magic show. The magician makes sure to keep things moving moving moving all while he talks. I was trying to get a good look at the rear of the seat ..... except it wasn't in the frame and then it just kept moving moving moving. I confess I missed the reason for showing us how easily it flips over once it's loose. Will I need to one-handed-flip it over .... Or can I just remove it like I have imagined with two hands. I already have the "front" clips loosened.... All I wanted was to see if there were any rear clamps too. I appreciate your time in producing this video.
Dude you totally don’t show that you need a t40 socket with extension and you have to remove the back upholstery piece to get to the bolt. Jeep does not make it that all you do is pop the seat out
I ve pried and pulled and the rear seat frame is starting to bend - but not releasing from the 2 clips on the front of the rear seat. The last time we had one, my guy forced the clip + broke it internally and then it worked just like on this video - it would pop in and out easily.
Basically boss man's just wasted our time lads 😂 I'll save you the effot as I ended up saying fuck this and yanked the seat and it came up, so all you gotta do is give it a right good tug 🤫😉 go careful though as I've just ripped a nice chunk out my finger doing so 😂
Just a tip for those watching he waffles on for 5 minutes the shows how to remove seat in the last 45 seconds. 😂😂
Not all heros wear capes 🫡
Dankjewel voor de waarschuwing en zelfs op het einde heeft hij niets geholpen hahaha
Clutch!
I noticed 😂
thank you

@@hybrid.but.human.official we understand what kept the seat in place but how do you unlock the seat to remove it??
My thoughts exactly… How do you remove it not how do you put it back in
Trying to put some seat covers and needed to find a way to pop the seat open. Thank you for the video you saved me a lot of time.
Why is everyone so mean & negative… he just giving out extra information.. you don’t like the video there is no need to be rude
Rear quick seat removal? Where is removal

This worked perfectly on my Toyota Avensis 2018. Thanks so much for sharing!
Glad it helped!

For people who say this video is useless it helped me 💯
What car it is ???
Pero como sacas el asiento? Tú ya lo tienes suelto
Do you understand what remove is?
This is the ONLY demonstration that truly put me to sleep! Get to the point!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He never used a staple gun
It's ASMR

is it a Scion xD right?
05:17 You're welcome.
What kind of car
How to remove the rear seat backs from inside the cab? Trunk lock is stuck closed
Ouch. Seat back rest IS bolted to the frame, bolt heads face the trunk space
First time I ever seen a how to video done in reverse
I left a gallon of milk in my jeep 2021 jeep limited. It opened up and now stinks I have the Leather seat cream color but think it went to the carpet under the seats

Bolted onto the frame of the vehicle from the trunk side, about like 6-12 bolts

Please explain what you need to detach to get the seat off otherwise you're a good demonstrator.
Nothing to detach, just pull up. From the underside, so the fabric does not get pulled and ripped.

No rear clips, just tucks under the back rest. Thanks for watching!
This is a video that's supposed to show us how to remove our seat, Not how to put it back.
Would you PLEASE get on with the remove part
how about the back rest?
Bolted to the frame, no big deal, needs one wrench, 6-8 bolts
@@theoverengineer i see, thanks
Dude you totally don’t show that you need a t40 socket with extension and you have to remove the back upholstery piece to get to the bolt. Jeep does not make it that all you do is pop the seat out
What year cobalt is this
filmed a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage in Canada
You didn't show how to remove seats which is the title of the video.
So there is a panel to the fuel pump thank god
Brilliant
Simple
Solved my question
Just spent 2 hrs, could not get that mutha up and off!!! Dayumm!!
Wait a minute this is Mitsubishi back seat looks just like a cobalt
Why you don't show how remove from middle
Because it is not held in place in the middle
But how did you remove that seat 🙄jeeez
1) Grab seat's edge
2) Pull up
3) Claim achievement award from random onlookers and family members who are surely deeply impressed
LMAO. Yep so just grab the front of the cushion in front of the metal clips and pull up really friggin hard thats how its done.
Yup. Skills needed: grip & pull up :)
this could've been 10 secs max

Where is the quick removal?
At 5:15 - 5:30
Only the last minute of this video is required. What a waste of time - "Here's one I removed earlier. I'm not going to show you how until later."
😤
Okay, why would you skip the part where you unlock the seat and remove it? Pointless
Basically boss man's just wasted our time lads 😂 I'll save you the effot as I ended up saying fuck this and yanked the seat and it came up, so all you gotta do is give it a right good tug 🤫😉 go careful though as I've just ripped a nice chunk out my finger doing so 😂
I just took the rear seats off a mazda mpv for my pops, took a tiny chunk off my pinky finger cos I yanked it a bit too hard
Absolute legends! Thanks for the tips. Only watched 25 seconds of the video.
Not how it works in my j10
I wonder if this video could have been any worse if it was done in English
I tried sign language but the blind people complained
Ya but how do u remove it!? Not helpful rename video "how to reinstall seat you removed"
It's at the end
Great video... Very informative... Thanks!!!
I dont care WHY just show us how!
I didn't come here to learn how to clean a seat!!!!
I think we viewers should sue for false advertising. I cam to see a seat REMOVAL, not an install
Just watch it in reverse, easy. There's a button for it next to the cam button.
Bunch of talk, but ZERO information on how to remove the rear Versa seat
Yup. It's because the description reads "Demo on a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage". Just saying.
Don’t tell me why
I’m vacuuming it
There’s change
Get to the point
Too many commercials.
How do u remove the top seat 🤡
Bolted from inside the trunk
what a waste of time what vehicle is this coming off of ??????? Waste
But maybe do opposite
Waffler !!
Pointless not all seats have the same fixings
😡
Lots of useless info, no one cares why u wanna remove it, just get the point
Not good. I didn't watch more than 20sec
Time wasting vedio, ,,
What a F word car is this ?
Any car with a rear seat, so just give it a try
completely useless
Totally useless information did not help one bit
Useless

This video is no good
Right, it's brilliant ;)
Useless video zero detail on how to remove
Yea removal is so quick, it's elusive
