This is a really cool pen! I'd love a Laban 325, but find it hard to decide between them. This Damask really stands out. Thank you for helping me decide!
I own a Laban 325 light blue and yes you're right is a reliable writer. Like a candy treat. Not a grail pen. Thank you
nice review!
I have a platinum 3776 century in tortoise celluloid and medium nib. I love it
I own a handmade one from a guy in Japan. The celluloid is just so much deeper than any other resin or plastic pen in its price/quality range. However I’m also a guitarist, and from experience owning guitar picks, I can confidently say that it sure goes up if it comes in contact with flames
Probably best not to set them on fire, eh?
Beautiful pens 🖊️
I love celluloid pens. Unfortunately the price for new celluloid pens is very prohibitive.
I do not own a Laban pen. Is should investigate this company further.
Thanks for the review, An.
Hi my pen right above where you hold there is the little section that spins is this normal like the area between the gold rings keeps spinning
I bought my first Laban 325 in damask. I notice you have the stub nib and wonder where I could buy that nib? I live in Canada.
I was under the impression that the celluloid barrel colours were just resin made to look like celluloid. I doubt it is made with real celluloid, or is it?
I am not sure if my Maiora Alpha Costiera (limited edition from Stilo&Stile) is really made from celluloid, but it has this distinctive smell of camphor. Maybe someone here can clarify that.
Yes, celluloid has a characteristic camphor smell because it is made with camphor to stabilise it, like other vegetal polymers. See Wikipedia.
Amazing Taiwanese pen 💯
Is this a 1.5 stub
I really dislike the cap design on this, it’s just to bulbous for my liking. And like you said the ivory is a bit overpowering
